All i know is we need to win and go on a run of wins to catch up. Don't care how we win, just win.

It's NBCSN's MotD here in the States. Southampton/Everton is on CNBC which is the secondary channel they use when they air multiple EPL games at the same time.

Really looking forward to this game. Hope we play a similar team to what we played against Feyenoord. If only Tony Martial and Rashers were firing again. We would be awesome. Would love to see a thrashing but I've put a 2-0 win down.

I'd take any win, as always, but it would really be nice to see the team build on the last result and trash West Ham!

Pogba needs to do the smart thing and pick up a yellow tomorrow so he can be suspended for the league cup game.

Bastian instead of Carrick in this role with Herrera? Could be fun... and he has the intelligence of positioning to make it happen. It would be a huge surprise.

We need to win this. Just had a look at the table and it makes for depressing viewing. Could do with a Chelsea win today too.
Indeed. We are losing touch with 5th place. Even if we win tomorrow, we won't move up the table. We simply can't afford another loss/draw.

So last season Bastian was pretty ordinary. He was mostly unfit, struggling to play more than 80 minutes and as the season wore on, he got injured and became a huge tennis fan.
One year on and no game time and that brings us to now.
On what planet does anybody in their right mind think Bastian is capable of playing for MUFC in a must win game, at the centre of midfield?

Have I missed something...if so, someone educate me.

You will need to build momentum and look at catching Spurs. 3-0 United to me, it's time to start delivering.

If only this game was on today and we won.
Hammers are a bit shite, and we should really win but they're dangerous nevertheless. Whats the news from their camp, who's injured, who's not available?

I'm sorry for Bilić but we will have to hammer your lot and make one more step to your possible sack.

Think you'll hammer this lot, no pun intended. You watch that complete capitulation they had last weekend against Spurs? They're woeful.

It's called the Euro where Bastian took a #6 role and did well. Some mistakes against France but the overall performance was encouraging.

Anyway we will see maybe he worked more on his fitness and we can expect a rotation with Carrick.

Payet and Lanzini aside, we should be beating them 3-1.

I think Herrera and De Gea will return, while Mata was probably taken off early with this game in mind.

Jones has played 3 games in a row. Maybe we should rest him for this?

Can't afford to drop any points in this, and I don't think we will. Hope to see a proper performance where we score plenty as our general forward play has been very good recently, just lacking the finishing touch in some games. We're well overdue to give someone a proper drubbing in the league, it would be nice to inflict some pain on these cnuts too after that game last season.

A win by any means necessary. We're playing well, and coming off a result like that in Europa, we should smash these shits without breaking sweat.

100% he will get himself booked, mourinho will make sure of that. I recall him instructing 3 RM players to get booked so they missed the last CL group game and had a clean slate in the last 16!!

Is this the game that Rooney matches, or even breaks, Sir Bobby's goalscoring record? If he plays like he did midweek then he has half a chance.

If history has taught us anything Post-Fergie, it's that after a 4-0 win, playing some nice stuff at times, and actually keeping a clean sheet in the process (however fortunate to do so) will mean the following match will be the most difficult one of our lives. If we do hammer them then that could well be a turning corner for us as a club.
