Now we will see the character of this side, will they come back fighting or will they feel sorry for themselves and truly became bottle job F.C

    DDG
    AWB Lindelof Bailly TFM
    Pogba Matic
    Greenwood Bruno Rashford
    Martial
You are kidding about Bailly right?
The guy was stretchered off, went to hospital with deep concerns over concussion but you expect him to play in 48 hours?

Moyes would love getting a result against us, so don't think his West Ham team won't be motivated for this encounter. Plus, it wouldn't be the first time this lot raised their game against us.

There is more riding on this game than CL qualification. In recent years, a blow like losing an FA Cup semi-final after a tired, disinterested performance from the team would set us on a downward trend where we'd follow it up with several more losses. We can't let that happen this time.

We must win the game by any means necessary. No excuses.

Certainly a test of Ole's mettle and a measure of how far this team has come. If they can pick themselves up after tonight then its a good bit of development.

We don't need to win on Weds and make no bones about it, Moyes will have them set up to be as difficult as utterly possible to break down. The worst thing is losing an early goal or OG and chasing the game. Goal Difference can be the difference between 3rd and 5th come next Sunday.

Also think Wolves will still have a massive say in where Chelsea finish, which ultimately could benefit us. A result for them tomorrow means they can goto Chelsea and play for a result to get into Europa next season. They beat Chelsea and Tottenham lose they go into the second qualifying round. Mid week games will put a fascinating spin on next Sunday's final round of games.

Recent years? Try last year. Wolves and then we were shit to the end

I thought a draw before today and still think that

But I hope we try to smash them 6-0 so Leicester have to beat us by 3 goals on the last day

I'd rest Bruno and play Pogba as a #10 with Fred and McTominay behind him. That duo was great before the break.

Messed up, I was listening to an interview and they were talking about him, guess I must have subconsciously put his name in

Ole’s first real test. I back the side to put in an energetic committed display, as they essentially didn’t run that much today except Fernandes, who, bless him, really tried to hold the standard.

You heard what Ole said post match right? That sound like they’re going to drop him?
no I didn’t watch the full game I switched off at 2-0. Had other things to do anyway, figured I may as well get them done instead of watching that rubbish.

Good news to hear though if that’s the case.

Considering all the factors, I think we should expect a draw but prepare for a defeat. A win would be an absolute bonus.

A 3 or 4 nil win puts us in a very healthy position though it's a big ask on our fitness. Going into the last game of the season knowing a defeat by 1 goal would see us miss top 4 would be very nervy (but that's still a better position to be in than Leicester).

Nonsense. It’s a must-win game that the team should be a win. No idea where this idea about scoring loads against them comes from, they look a decent side right now.

Would love for us to bounce back and absolutely do these twats, alas I feel it will be a quite laboured. Still think we'll win mind. Other than maybe giving Rashford or Fernandes a break, back to our first eleven.

This team, but I'd start Romero in goal. DDG is sadly a huge liability. Can see West Ham bombarding his lubed hands with long efforts.
Yeah I hate to say it but he looks back to that nervous keeper in 11/12 who made those high profile errors against WBA & Blackburn respectively. Ole needs to give Romero the last two league games at least but personally would keep him in for Europa league campaign too.

As weird as it sounds I would actually rest Rashford and Bruno. I can’t see us winning by four goals, which is the only margin that would make it comfy on Sunday anyway.

I think we’d have faired much better with a fresh team but familiar shape today. TFM is a good shout for right back and probably McTominay/Pogba in midfield. I’d even consider playing Mata at 10.

I really don't see anything but a win here. I'm a little worried about Antonio but I just think we'll have too much for them.

I can see a similar performance to Palace where Bruno and Rashford aren’t quite on it but still deliver enough quality to get us through. Martial needs to start as does Pogba.

    AWB - Lindelof - Maguire - Williams
    Matic - Pogba
    Greenwood - Bruno - Rashford
    Martial
    3-0 (Bruno, Martial, Pogba)

I think we'll come out very strong, be 2-0 within 30 mins, and coast out to an easy win.

This is what I expect to be the XI also. Don't think we'll play Shaw until the Europa unless he's 100%.

If we win or draw we would have broken the curse of always dropping points when we have the chance to go ahead. I can't imagine us losing this one but if we do then(last time I'm saying this) we don't deserve top 4

Must win game simple as that. An early Goal (for us) would be a big help.
By early I mean anytime in the first half.

Hope it doesn't take 30 minutes for the players to switch on. They have to be ready from the get-go, don't fecking underrestimate West Ham.

I’ve watched WH a lot since the restart. They’re looking good. The results before our game coudictate how they set up but even if they’re safe they may still want to take us. I don’t know.....
Antonio will be probably be looking to get some more goals so hopefully we don’t oblige him.
As for our team..Bruno looks like he needs a rest but this is a huge game for us.

Yes, drop de Gea. I am honestly very worried he will make a mistake that could cost us a champions league place. Go with Romero til the end of the season and then reevaluate. Williams was shocking today, Mensah looked alright against Palace, and is far more steady defensively. Yes, Matic as the DM with Pogba and Bruno together in front of him. Bruno has been way too high up the pitch lately, I want to see a proper 4-3-3 with Bruno deeper because I'm not a fan of this Firmino act he's been doing.

Would take a 1-0 win, but I hope we win by 3 goals, so we can offer to lose (by not more than 1 goal) against Leicester.

In any case, we should win. Moyes against top 6 teams in away matches is a nice story.

I don't get the home and away thing given that there are no fans in the ground.
75K fans in OT roaring us on is much different to playing in front of the subs.
Its no advantage really just as being 'away' to Leicester last game is not a disadvantage.
If we can't qualify from the position we are in we don't deserve CL.

    Romero
    TFM -- Lindelof -- Maguire -- Shaw*
    McT -- Fred
    Rashford -- Pogba -- Martial
    Ighalo

    *if fit, no? then Williams.

Subs: Greenwood, James, Bruno, Mata, Pereira, Matic, Williams (/Dalot), ???, De Gea
Dropping De Gea would meant Ole making a huge statement that he's serious. No more feck-ups.

AWB and Bruno need to chill for only one game on the bench. Greenwood also need to get back his mojo by first sitting this one out and back to making impact from the bench.

This isn't a must win game. We need to rest players for this, and when we don't we'll not win easily.

Winning this by 2 GD minimum will put us into in a very good position for top 4, not only we can still be in top 4 with just a draw against Leicester, we can also still be in top 4 even if we lose by 1 GD to Leicester.
