Going to this game. My first time watching a match at Old Trafford. What are the must do things on matchdays?

I get a feeling that ETH liked the Ronaldo and Rashford combination of #9 and #10 and we might see that again versus West Ham.

with the results this weekend, this is a HUGE opportunity to move up the table and get ourselves into hte top 4 with having 2 games in hand at the moment

Really important to pick up three pts here and the next two games before the WC, good chance to be in the top 4 and theoretically at least still in the title race before the break.

This bunch of cnuts always raise their game against us, would be good to properly smash them for once, feels like we haven’t done that since the 2-4 win at Upton Park with Rooney screaming at the camera, although someone would probably correct me that we’ve had bigger or similar scoreline since.

I think there were a couple of 4-0s under Jose.

One of those would do nicely today.

But yeah, my spotty memory about this tie probably stemmed from that horrible 2-3 game that saw us choking top 4 to City under LvG.
Same, it's the only game vs West Ham I can properly remember since the 4-2 you mentioned.
I think the 4-0 was one of a few similar scores at the start of 2017/18 when Lukaku, Rashford, Martial, and Pogba were all in form, but I don't really remember any of it.

There was also a beautiful Bruno-Pogba goal vs them which VAR should have overruled, but I have no idea which season or what the score was

This game will tell us how far we have come under ETH in the mental toughness department. So many previous occasions we have just bottled it when given the opportunity to take the advantage of other teams dropping points. Either we take it easy or get nervous.

I'm just hopeful that with proper mentality monsters like licha, casimiro and antony in the team, we will be able to power through and do what is needed

it'll be two teams set up in a 4231 trying to break down the other in a tight defensive shape....wet spam will no doubt look to play more direct with Antonio

Very tough game. I'd say the teams are about equally matched. Dire start of the season, but they've gotten better. They are solid defensively and our lack of ideas in the final third will continue to be an issue. Fortunately, they have the same problem. I’d start mostly the same XI from the Chelsea game, but Lindelof for Varane, and Garnacho for Sancho. Not having Varane is just such a massive blow. Let’s hope Bowen is out for this. It’s a must-win game after Chelsea and Liverpool dropped points yesterday, but I think we are in for a boring 0:0 draw.

The next 2 games are absolutely must wins. Liverpool and Chelsea losing yesterday and next week we have Chelsea playing Arsenal and Liverpool playing Spurs. Win the next 2 and we could be with in touching distance from 2nd. Massive week ahead.

I get we don’t want to jinx stuff but let’s be honest, we have far better players than WHUM in most positions. They are a defensive team and they are organised, there’s always a threat on the counter or from a set piece/cross with them but we should be winning this. They have been poor this season, I’m hopeful we can have a very good game.

You can have the best players in the world and still be a shit team. You can have players that are not the best in the world and still have a great team. Yeah, we have the better players and have done well so far, but as a team still far from the finished article. Many mistakes, sloppy passing, etc. West Ham have been playing together longer for the most part. I wouldn't underestimate them. They are sitting third on xGA, only behind City and Arsenal, and have conceded 12 to our 16 so far.

Na we are miles better than West Ham. Showing it on the pitch is another matter (which we do to be fair, we seeming beat them every time we play them)

Rice drops deep in these games which will allow us to press them back in their own box. Should be an easy win if we finish the chances

It’s not underestimating them, they are a well known entity under Moyes. You can pay attention to those stats but they are 13th and have lost 50% of their PL games so far, we should dominate the ball and then it’s on us to score.

Nice to write that to be honest, ETH building confidence back into our fan base.

Can see this being a tight game. They always are against them at our ground. Think we’ll win 1 or 2-0. Hoping to see us control the game, not let them have any chances and take the chances we create.

Moyes has never won at OT with a visiting team. I'm not having it that he shows up today and beats Erik's team of dragons awaking from their slumbers.

Nice jinx. If we lose today I will be pushing for you to get a permaban at the highest level.

Yeah, we missed Fellaini that day. We had no one to defend crosses. That was the day his number was up.

I'm still waiting for that ketchup effect... 3-0 vs Sheriff doesn't really count as that. Lets smash them, 5-0...
