Bruno's massive brainfart almost cost us the game. DDG MOTM. DAlot and Martinez were outstanding as well. Rashford and Eriksen good. Elanga is not good enough.

Thank feck that's finished. Dalot immense DDG top quality. Kept giving the ball away in CM and even Maguire was OK. The back 5 won that game today. Well done lads.

    Feck off

He did ok. As usual he made some errors, was ponderous on the ball and doing his usual diving in to miss the ball.
He made no more errors than any other United player today. You just decided to ignore reality.

Made that so difficult for ourselves with the wastefulness of the passing in towards the end. You're only 1-0 up, hold on to the flipping ball. Knock it off one of their players for a thrown in rather than try a 40 yarder across the pitch straight to one of their players. It's basic stuff.

We have always been terrible at closing out games. Not surprising that De Gea had to pull off some fantastic saves.

Some of the passing was nonsensical at times, like Fred (I think) basically passing it to their goalkeeper when he could have just held onto the ball and tried to buy a foul.

Great to have all 3 points, though we were hanging-on there in the end.

When was the last time we had several candidates for MOTM?! Our second half was a shambles. Elanga offered nothing, not sure what Garnacho couldn’t improve on if he started over him. Fred and McT are bench options but when they come in, it’s heart in mouth.

Good teams win when playing poorly and that was us today. Everyone in the back line was fantastic and De Gea made some great saves to preserve the win.

I'm really starting to get concerned about Ronaldo. People say his age is catching up with him, but if that were the case he wouldn't be getting any chances. He's getting a ton of chances. He just can't finish.

Elanga never should have started. Must be frustrating for Garnacho. He is MOTM in his first start a couple days ago and then sits the bench. i'd kind of understand if he sat out for a senior player, but another youth player took his spot that I thought he had earned.

This game, especially 2nd half showed the lack of quality in depth we have. Inclusion of Ronaldo, Maguire & Elanga really had a big effect on us retaining possession in build up and in counter press. Maguire did well with the clearances in the end but he brings a distinct nervousness that infects the other team mates. Hope Lindelof & Antony are back soon.

Again I say, we need to play three midfielders and not two. Bruno offers absolutely nothing going forward. Because of Bruno, we are constantly getting outmatched in midfield against no names.

Experts (idiots) want him gone for a keeper who wouldn’t make those saves but has decent passing ability
I thought he has a decent passing ability but haven’t been coached to it before. His game has changed since ETH is here.

Course he didn't. Every other member of the back line had much better games than him. Maguire did ok and was better in the second half when we sat back as would be expected. He wasn't good when we were playing a higher line.

Having Antony at RW is something not to be taken for granted. I know people get frustrated when he dances a bit and then passes back but he keeps the ball and lets the rest of the team move up the pitch and set up outside the box. We didn't get much of that at all from Rashford or Elanga, which I think was partly why the team struggled to keep possession. The other was that to my eye Casemiro and Bruno were sloppy on the ball and gave it away cheaply several times, although I'd have to see some statistics about that to be certain.
