I’ll be honest, and really sorry to sound negative, but to carry momentum you need to have hungry, motivated capable players. If we keep building and have more players like De Ligt, Martinez, Bruno, Cunha, Lammens then yeah but most others’ heads just drop.

I'd like to see this too, but surely Martinez isn't ready for a start yet.
I hear you, but let's take a pass on that idea for now. Martinez needs more second half appearances before getting a full start, and beyond that Shaw has played very well at LCB. But getting back to Martinez, I might just keep him out of this one altogether as it was the shithouse West Ham player, Coufal, who took out Martinez. I've watched that play several times and it was clear as day that Coufal went in with malice.
With Cunha now set to return let's focus on that as our significant change to the starting XI, although a rethink of Yoro for now would be a good idea.Lammens

I think his legs are gone and won’t be able to keep up. Touchwood we’ve kept him injury free playing at lcb. With Martinez being injury prone too, I would continue Shaw at LCB
I think it's definitely worth a shot. Shaw and Martinez on the left is infinitely better than one of Dorgu and Dalot.

Yeah, smart from the manager not saying who they are. All recent experience would suggest Mount and Shaw but I suppose there’s no point speculating.
Definitely, I’ve been saying this as well. He has all the attributes to excel in that role even if we limit his minutes. We’re severely lacking at wing back and we need temporary solutions before a long term successor is found either in Amass or a new signing this January or summer.
