Boro have been shit this year, but so had Bournemouth. Changes might freshen our approach, but I too am struggling to see victory.

We look like a very tired team tonight who needs a break and despite Boro being shit....this game is going to be very difficult and to make matters worse it's on at 12 on a Sunday....

I hope we somehow manage to sneak a 1-0 and get out of there

No Ibra, Herrera or Pogba. No news on Martial either.

This is going to be shit.
Truth be told, of all the injured, Martial seems the most likely to feature, although there might be some bad blood between him and the manager.

Don't really get what's going on on Mourinho's mind, with this late 3 at the back shit. Maybe he feels it's the only way to get through the run of games, even if we're out of the FA Cup.

So Pogba, Herrera and Zlatan out. Martial and Rooney doubtful. My lineup would be

    De Gea
    Bailly Smalling Rojo
    Valencia Carrick Fellaini Young
    Mata Rashford Mkhi

Who cares about the league anyway, all about europa league. Even though boro are shit, playing away it will be difficult, especially without herrera, pogba and ibra. Guess you can add blind, martial and rooney to that, and probably shaw but for different reasons. So we'll probably play:

    De gea
    Bailly Smalling Rojo
    Valencia Carrick Fellaini Lingard
    Mkhitaryan Rashford Mata

Possibly young for lingard. Maybe darmian too. Something like that though.

This is the greatest test for this team. But its always darkest before the dawn. This team is going to do amazing things. I can feel it. Theres just something special about them and you could feel it at the end of that Rostov match. Everything happened to us. We lost Pogba. We lost Blind. But they fought until the end. Even that free kick Rostov had. I could feel that Romero would step up and save it. Theyre starting to play for each other. And it going to be amazing when it clicks.

PS Did anyone see that nutmeg Jones did to that defender? He was playing left back FFS!

My first ever United game was at the Riverside Stadium, so always looked forward this game. Boro away is always tough. They've been poor against City, but they've sacked Karanka so we'll probably have a tough game there.

No Pogba, no Ibra, no Herrera... Hopefully not three at the back, but I really fear that we may be up for this again.

I like both. That 3-4-3 team actually looks better than anything we've tried with that formation, in my opinion.

We've got plenty of quality, even without Ibra, Pogba, Herrera and Martial. There's no excuse not to beat them.

I'm sure that despite our injury problems Jose will still find a way to leave Shaw out of the squad.

Why the hell are the lot of you so negative?

the same people that were asking for Pogba to be rested are complaining that we gonna miss him?

Have some damn belief and get behind the players and the team!

    My 11

    De Gea

    Valencia
    Bailly
    Rojo
    Shaw

    Fellaini
    Carrick
    Mata

    Mkhitaryan
    Rashford
    Martial

I believe we will nick it by a single goal and go into the international break that much closer to the top 4 with either city or liverpool definitely dropping points! Zlatan has 2 weeks off, hopefully that will give him a good rest before the final push!

We do have 2 games in hand but it looks like top-4 will evade us. Teams crashing out of cups is not helping us either. City, Arsenal, Spurs - have no other distractions; CFC and LFC did not anyway; except the FA Cup.

If martial is available, this is our best team for the boro game. This is last years best team with upgrade (Smalling -> Bailly and Depay/Lingard -> Mkhi).

Please no 3 at the back and boring LVG 0-0 draw as we don't have the players to play that formation. Hope Shaw starts.
