I used to hate international breaks but now it's like a break from disappointment. Hope we can get at least a point from this.

We'll need to show massive improvement if we are to win this match.
It wouldn't surprise me if we end up getting pumped in his match, too.
    Fingers crossed.

Having no United for a week has been fantastic. It’s been really lovely. Kind of wish it was a permanent thing, but fans are like battered housewives.

Dressing room in disarray, team low on confidence, manager on the verge of the sack. What could possibly go wrong?

    3-0 united.

    No Bruno?
We'll have a hectic schedule from Saturday and for 20 days, so I think it will be the moment to leave him on the bench as they will be the "weakest side" from this run.

Newcastle, PSG, Chelsea, Leipzig, Arsenal, Basaksehir, Everton

This match should be a great opportunity to make our critics eat their words. A good performance will take a bit of heat off, especially with such strong opposition up ahead after this.

Almost 2 weeks, I'll miss the Glazers&Woodward project!
Wish we'd play a team like this, in Green and Gold; season is over anyway.

    -------------------Henderson
    Laird/TFM--Fish-Mengi/Bernard--Williams
    ---------van de Beek-Galbraith/McCann
    ------------------Mata/Mejbri
    ----Greenwood------------Elanga
    ------------------------Hugill
Season OVER after 3 games. ffs.

Telles is LB not RB. But swap him over to left side and I would like to see this team start against Newcastle. Top team that is.

I think we might go with this, personally I'd drop Pogba for Van de Beek but Ole won't and I don't think we have the CB options to drop Maguire.

I'd probably swap Lindelof for Bailly for a bit more speed and mobility on that right side when the wing back pushes up. No doubt we'll get caught by counter attacks down there due to AWB's positioning issues.

I'm terrified of this game. If he sets out with the same system, personnel (Martial aside), and set of roles, and we don't get a positive result, things will match Mourinho-era levels of toxicity and grimness. Maintaining faith will take some effort.

I've no idea what to expect or suggest, but we need to see some adaptability, willingness and ability to change things up for the better.

Play or drop Pogba? Play or drop Maguire? Bruno? Big calls, and if the former two play and have more stinkers it's going to be incredibly frustrating.

Ole needs a response from the players after the debacle against Spurs last time out, as another lacklustre display similar to the first three games may see him in trouble.

Play the absolute best team available minus Pogba.

Is Bailly fit? I thought he got injured playing for the Ivory Coast the other night.

    Williams -------- Lindelof ------- Maguire ------- Shaw ------- Telles

    VDB ------ Fred ------ Bruno

    Greenwood ----- Rashy

Can see this happening. Pogba, AWB, Matic, shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11. Ole needs to send a message. If he picks a similar team to last game, he's done.

I think Ole might take this opportunity to finally drop Pogba due to his recent comments about his Madrid dream. If he isn't dropped after his very poor showings and then coupled with comments about Madrid, he could literally lay down on the field and still be selected next game.

Newcastle have been relatively ok so far this season and I can see them causing us problems. Unless we look a totally rejuvenated team after the international break, we could be in for a long scrappy night.

We have Chelsea, Arsenal, and Everton coming up after this game, and PSG and Leipzig. This one looks the easy one...

A patchy form Newcastle vs a woefully out of form Utd. Draw or jammy win most likely. I’m not buying the fitness argument anymore. We just stand off the other team way too much and let them play their game and it’s like we expect them to do the same for us.

We must win this. If not we might be in the relegation zone by the time next international break starts.

I don't want to see Pogba and Bruno in the starting XI until we can defend as a team.

    ----------------Henderson-----------------
    AWB--Mengi--Maguire--Telles
    ------------------Fred------------------
    ---------McT-------------Bruno-------
    Greenwood---Rashford----VDB
Why not Donny in the midfield?

The international break came at a perfect time. I feel we will win this comfortable because our manager had the time over the international break to assess what went wrong in the last three matches in the league and the new signings will lit a fire into our team to perform better and show much more intensity. I honestly can not see a loss here and I will be shocked if we do lose. The only way I see is losing this game is through individual errors.
