Need a convincing win to get the lad morale back up. We should also start implementing a tactical system that we will start using going forward. What I want to see:

    De Gea
    Darmien - Bailily - Blind - Rojo
    Schweinstiger/Carrick
    Mata* - Pogba
    Mhkitaryan - Zlatan** - Rashford/Lingard

*Because it is an easier opponent, so we could manage without a destroyer. Herrera will be apt for this role.
**Might need a rest because of his age. Switch with Rasford if that is the case.

    Would like to see:

    Romero
    Darmian TFM Blind Rojo
    Carrick Herrera
    Lingard Mata Memphis
    Rashford

With some youngsters and Schneiderlin/Smalling on the bench.

Should be playing our best possible line up. These players should play together to know each other and play as a team.

What are you talking about? They've just gone on a 31 game unbeaten streak, getting promoted in the process, and play decent football. Save your outdated cliches.
They are fecking shite, pub team etc. We are just as bad however, right now

Guaranteed Rooney will play, so he can get a couple of goals and keep the charade rolling on for another few months.

Really wouldn't be surprised if we lost or drew.

Finally we get to play a team at our own level, it's been though having to face these big teams like Feyenoord and Watford in the last week, I'm very hopeful that we can get something from this game.

I expect Mourinho to play basically a full strength team after 3 losses on the bounce. We can't afford a 4th. Plus playing lesser opposition will help their confidence if we roll them over. Or on the other hand will destroy them if we lose...

All the hype and optimism has been drained now. Obviously I want us to win, but it'll feel a bit hollow if I'm honest because I convinced myself so many times last season that we had turned a corner following huge disappointment every time. It's going to take a good run of results to get the buzz back for me.

Can we just steam roll a team for once? A win is a win, but it'd be nice to see us really smash a team for once instead of grinding out a result.

In the last 3 games I have predicted wins (and we lost).
So, I am genuinely worried that we will lose to Northampton.

I think it will be a draw or a narrow 1 goal win, for either team.

We need to play this game as if it were a Cup final, because if we lose here, that'll be 4 losses in a row. We simply cannot afford to lose this under any circumstance.
Play our strongest team and aim to win by 3-4 goals.

If this is true, I am worried.

I expect a weaker team with the likes of the truly awful Rojo starting. I also expect us to lose. We drop to the level of teams we play and can't raise it when we play anyone good, not at all looking forward to it.

Personally I would only rest De Gea, Zlatan. I would 100% drop Rooney and also Smalling, Fellaini and Valencia.

    -------Romero
    TFM Bailly Blind Shaw
    -----Schneiderlin
    ----Herrera Pogba
    Rashford------ Depay
    ---------Martial

My team we win, Jose 11 not at all confident.

Play the same team intended for Leicester - the shite we are playing now probably can't be helped by making wholesale changes, and maybe if we get a bit of luck here we might squeeze-out a positive result to build a tiny bit of confidence.

Going to be a nail biting 0-1 win for United or a 5-0 win for Northampton. Jose will play a second string side and then use that as an excuse.

One thing I'm glad about is that the games will start coming thick and fast now. The opportunity to *hopefully* beat Northampton in midweek and build some much needed confidence (even if its just a league cup tie) before we look to the champions brings some much needed reassurance.

    DDG
    TFM Smalling Blind Darmian
    Herrera Carrick Schneidy
    Mata Rash Lingard

But in all honesty, I don't give a flying toss about this game.

Play our first eleven that we will play for Leicester so the team gains confidence.

I would like to see Blind, Carrick, Mata, Mkhitaryan start. Rooney, Fellaink, Smalling, Rashford out.

I assume that Lingard will play depending on his condition. I do like to see Herrera to be on the starting XI and prove his worth to the Special One. I also hope that Mata and Carrick to start and see how we will turn out without Pogba in the midfield.
