When Garna drops a stinker, he drops a stinker. Did we back the wrong horse with him over Elanga?
Elanga suits a style of play Forest have, not so much us. Garna really had a bad one tonight though, but probably is more suited stylistically if not in terms of output at the moment. Cashing in on both might be the right move to be honest.

    Much better tonight from us.

Crucially we looked half decent at the back, Forest had just 8 attempts.

In a season where teams have been pelting shots at us like it's a free for all that's at least something positive to take from it.

We looked good going forward plenty of width, some half decent passing plays but lacking that final killer blow.

Anyone saying forest deserved that win deserves a permanent ban! (Just kidding lol)

Overall, the wrong team won. If United had won that game 2-1 or 3-1, it would have been a fair result...to lose was just beyond comprehension. Yes, they need far more quality in the final third but until they bring in Viktor, Victor or some other top level striker, they will continue to struggle. Even despite that, the late clearance, header onto the bar, narrow misses from Mount, Garnacho and others...they really should have had the points tonight. Forest can consider themselves VERY fortunate.

Dorgu had a rough first hour or so but grew into the game and improved late on. He looked like he had missed games and was short of match fitness but ease up on the lad, he will be fine.

Garnacho has improved his work rate...but little else.

Leny Yoro is going to be a star.

It was good to see Mount back out there again and he was SO close to scoring a cracker.

One final thought and no, it is not sour grapes...just facts...Forest are a bunch of cheating c*nts, especially that wanker of a captain Yates.

The football is improving but the barometer is low but let’s be honest here we don’t have any real attacking zest in most games and no elite attackers in the squad to rely on, this current team and group of players give the fans very little joy and have very little imagination.

Thought we were shite. Forest played 120 mins 2 days ago, excuses ring hollow.

Very frustrating but until we get something resembling a striker, this is what we are. Felt a bit sorry for Garnacho. Easy to say he should be more accurate with his shooting but the lad tried his heart out, tracking back one minute and the main threat the next, which is more than you can say for certain departed individuals who didn’t give a sh!te. We shouldn’t forget how difficult Forest are for even the top teams to beat, never mind us and the state we’ve been. Obvs lack of quality especially up front but we are moving much better and defensively much better. Just hope we can overcome the shortcomings in Europe but fear we’ll pay for it.
