I think we'll win 0-1. As posters have said, Forest will make it really difficult now with Dyche in charge, but I do think we'll come through it.

Sounds a bit cliche, but this is a big weekend coming up to get a win.

Spurs vs Chelsea and City vs Bournemouth.

We could easily be finding ourselves 2nd / 3rd come Monday night, with Spurs to play next!!!!

Going into the international break, this would have been utterly unthinkable 3 weeks ago.

I wonder why people repeatedly look at the fixtures last season to compare, apart from tough away matches vs Liverpool, City, Arsenal etc. Every season is a season with different top players, different forms, different managers and systems etc. I don't think the match last season is that relevant at all for coming weekend.

We are a much better team, and they are much worse with a different manager as well.

Forest have scored 3 goals in their last 8 PL games. They haven't scored in the league since 20th of September (four games without a goal).

We have to be pretty confident about a win, and go for it. Getting to four in a row would be big, and then I'd say whatever we can get in the Spurs game becomes more of a bonus.

I wish everyone would stop being so confident of a win here.

We really need a good run of games and don’t want anything to jinx it!

When I look at their line-up, I can't understand how they can be where they are. Yes they overperformed last season, but they still have a lot of good players. Several of their players would be playing for us, or at least being close to it. So I am not confident

Another break coming up? We're in form and need to keep rolling.

Some tough EPL fixtures recently and Europa League play. They have been held scoreless in all 3 games after a Europa League tie. (I think.) 2 matches a week is hurting them as they are going all out in the Europa league. 5 days of rest from their last match so they should be ready to go vs United.

Kick off time looks messed up for North American posters but I guess the UK turned the clocks back yesterday and we do ours overnight on November 2nd.

Still have trouble wrapping my head around it though.

Like who? Anderson maybe, but who else?

Anderson to have a cracking game to seal his move to United in the summer

The pessimist in me is the worried the last few results have been another false dawn. It's happened so many times in recent years where after a few good results we think are back. The optimist says that with Mbeumo and Cunha we will always have a chance to score goals.

Murillo is a brilliant defender, Gibbs-White would get lots of game time at United, Douglas Luiz is certainly not worse than Ugarte
Williams and Aina are better wing backs than Dalot and Dorgu; Jesus would rotate with Sesko.

As a combined XI (with subs)

    Lammens

Yoro - de Ligt (Milenkovic) - Murillo

Amad (Williams) - Anderson (Luiz) - Bruno (Gibbs-White) - Aina

Mbuemo - Sesko (Jesus) - Cunha

Forest will play a very low block, pack midfield and make it difficult. We need to be smart. Maybe we play Sesko as no 10 with Cunha. Mbeumo up top and also drop back deep to help out in midfield. Think Amad will notch a goal or two from the wings.

    ————Lammens———-

    —Yoro—de light—Shaw—

    ——-Casemiro-Bruno—-

    -amad—Cunha-Sesko-maz—

    ——————Mbeumo———

Forest will be up for it, home game for dyche they ll probablly play deep and nick it on the counter. Elliot anderson will have game of his life as well.

I feel like we have to win this one. Forest has been terrible so far this season and even with Dyche to make them more solid I'd really fancy us. I think this is the first time in a long time that a team might be a bit scared of us. The Spurs game will feel very different if we didn't get a result there - I think most fans and pundits would accept it as long as we don't play terribly and get well beaten. But it would feel like a massive step backwards, a return to norm, if we fail to beat Forest. Heads will go down again and we'd probably lose to Spurs before stepping on the pitch. That's how fragile it could feel, even though it shouldn't as we look strong and confident now.

We'll absolutely smash this lot. We won't lose a game until possibly City or Arsenal in January. By then we'll likely be top or just behind Arsenal. I said it before the Liverpool game we'd beat them go on a long run and end up winning the league. I stand by it.
feck it, I love this crazy optimism!

I have a feeling that Mount will start this one and we will bring Sesko later. Though I think Sesko should start as they will play a low block and crosses to the box will be key to brake them down

Every premier league game is tough. Arguably tougher than ever, so it’s difficult to be confident.
Have to turn up and give 100% to get the 3 points.

I really think a more direct style helps put these teams away.

What let's these smaller teams off the hook is the bigger and better teams messing about with the ball around the back too much. We have better forwards but if we don't get the ball to them, what's the point.

Spending too much time on the ball in defensive areas makes these smaller clubs look better than they are. It's making it easy for them.

I think we win this 2-0. Won’t be straight forward but I expect our creative players to continue being dangerous. No injuries please

Until Sesko is more used to the league, is it better to go with Mount/Bruno further forward, especially in away games? I think we can just go Sesko here, even more-so if Mount isn't fully fit, but it's worth thinking about.

I'd like to get Mainoo, or even Ugarte into the side and maybe rather than playing an outright false 9, we play Bruno at no.10 with Cunha/Mbuemo as more split strikers.

Mount has been good this season but when Cunha plays that left 10 role like he did vs Brighton he's just on another level. Same lineup no changes.

They've scored one goal and conceded 12 in their last 6 games, losing all of them except for the one draw. Easy a team you can ask for in terms of where all teams are form-wise.

Baleba didn't shine on his audition (no complaints from me).

I hope Anderson equally struggles on his audition this Saturday.

It's ridiculous where Forest are in the table when you look at the players they have in the squad.

Unlike West Ham who I can see getting relegated, I think Forest will eventually start climbing their way up the table, unless there's something seriously wrong in the background.

It seems every week is a different type of test for Amorim to see if he is progressing. This week, a tricky away trip to a team who, under Dyche, will probably defend deep and go long in behind at every opportunity. I hope he and the coaching team have learned the lessons from the Brentford game and can cope better than what we did in that game, which was shambolic.

I too suspect he'll play Mount, Cunha, Mbeumo as the front 3 for this one, but is Mount available?

Don't know if Maguire is available either but not sure this is a match up that suits his game. Forest will sit deep and have pace in attack, the type of game that doesn't suit Harry.
