Cunha needs to impose himself on the game much more.
Yes. And he needs to get his first touch in order and stop moaning about as if he was shot in the face when his shoulder was barely touched. He can be so good.

Alex Garnacho's Chelsea (the current best team in the world) are 11th

They are still going on about if that was a corner or not.

Just goes to show what a shite game it's been that this remains the talk of the game.

It led to to the goal, of course it is a talking point.

At the other end this forum would be screaming about conspiracies and official complaints to the FA.

No it's the whole ball (including the side)

I don't think it's all out, but it's tight, it's certainly not a howler of a decision or anything

    No. That is cricket.
IN football the whole of the ball has to be out of the whole of the line, including the part in the air.

Yes, it is. It's law 9 of the laws of the game.
Ah yes it does make sense actually. It's tough to tell initially if there's an overhang, but there was still work to do from a corner so I don't see it as a big stroke of luck.

I will be the first to admit I have been toough on Shaw. But he has been great the last 3 games, credit to him. Like Cas, no Europe is great for him.

Dalot is poor and lazy at times. Get him out of there.

Pundits on my stream are so butthurt about the corner, saying it was a bad call etc., as though it was the most obvious thing in the world. The ball was at least 98% over.

Sesko and Amad looking off their game here, and Dalot just existing as usual but otherwise not bad. If we continue in the same manner second half it'll finish 1-1 though. Need to improve a bit.

Also, this side will improve a lot, when we get a competent LWB. We are just not a threat from that side.

Andersons biggest problem is that his game doesn't really suit the spredsheet watchers, anyone watching him actually play will see his qualities.
Even on spreadsheet, he's been great, 1st in the league in a number of categories.

Where was the penalty foul on Amad talking point last week? Oh right, your favorite uncle Neville buried that.

Agreed. They're showing videos with the camera angle, not straight on the line.

We've been good in general, even though we've changed our gameplan today by playing higher and out of the back. De Light/Shaw/Lammens been superb in defence. Mbeumo and Cunha good on the ball as always, Bruno high risk high reward passing as always.

The problem is - Sesko is having a very poor game in general. A better first touch would have seen him through on goal twice, and he's not winning his duels or making the runs for his side. It's like watching Hojlund, today. Dalot has been poor both going forward and in defence, and Amad has been wasteful on the right going forward.

Three players off their game is just too much in a tight away game. I'm glad Casemiro had that goal before he gets knackered in the second half and our play goes down in general. I'm hoping Dorgu/Mount can make a difference when they come on.

Our left side is exposed. Shaw is doing excellent. I think Dalot should be covering more as every counter they have there is an opposition player free there. Forrest seem to be up for it for the first time this season the cnuts! We need to control the game better and get another one. Has a late equalizer if we stay 1-0.

Having to come under some pressure but we're defending well, particularly in the case of De Ligt and Shaw, and potentially got some luck with the goal.

Could definitely do with a second though.

Good half. We’ve been opened up a bit too much for my liking but the CBs have recovered well to close the space.

In attack we’re just messing up the final moment but the approach play has been good. We’d be a lot better team if Dalot stopped trying to be Yannick-Carrasco.

What i would give to have a 24 years old Carrasco on our left wing

The ball is over the line if it looks borderline from a camera angle that is behind the goal it's more than likely will over the line
If there are other angles, they won't be shown. The narrative of United getting an unfair decision is too good to pass up.

Where was the penalty foul on Amad talking point last week? Oh right, your favorite uncle Neville buried that.

Did he? Or did it become irrelevant given how the game went.

I think we need to do better here, a few times I’ve seen them have an extra man around our box that they haven’t been able to pick out quickly enough luckily for us. On the ball we haven’t done much and their midfield pressing has made it so we can’t build anything past our own half.

Might be one of those ones were we’d need to bring off Sesko and put mount on for a bit more control and maybe penetration (the alternative would be adding an extra player in midfield and going 4231 but we know that’s an abomination to Ruben).

Otherwise we’ve been defensively good. I think they are more likely to score off of Amad’s side as CHO has been very threatening. But hopefully they tire out (I don’t think they will with Yates and Anderson) and we get a bit more control.

Forest seem to pick up better positions to pick up the 2nd ball situations. Neex to tighten up that middle area to see this through.

    Welbeck on the scoresheet again.
Wouldn't be against a January move.

Was it ever established who you support? I skim read mostly and it seems you never really have a positive word to say about United.

People claim these things balance out so maybe this was the positive to offset an earlier negative, like the non-penalty on Amad.

Wonder if we will spend relatively big in the next window if we’re hanging around the top like we are at present. League looks open again.

Also wonder if Amad will soon end up in the dog house if he doesn’t stop being so greedy. He’s very much a slightly more effective Garnacho at present, on one hand he has proven he can score these goals cutting in so you want him to get back in the groove, on the other hand we’re wasting a lot of good attacking play with terrible decision making again.

He's a class player, always has been for me. But his momentum keeps being broken by injury. Once he gets on a run he's great.

    Was it an error.
Looked out to me and the officials ruled it as a corner, they didn't defend the corner well, so kinda their issue.
Officials have nothing to make amends for. Forest have been fortunate with a number of fouls on our players, do they owe us some freekicks for them as well?

Andersons biggest problem is that his game doesn't really suit the spredsheet watchers, anyone watching him actually play will see his qualities.

Couldnt be more wrong. The entire reason he's rated is because of stats. Him having the most touches and progressive passes alongside Bruno in the league. He has had the same amount of touches as Bruno in this match 45, despite his team having less of the ball.

But he's still won the ball a lot less than Casemiro, hasnt scored, hasnt set up a goal or kept the ball as well as Bruno and he doesnt have an assist. There is no argument where hes been as good as them, stats or watching.
