I wouldn't want Sesko battling Murillo and Milenkovic, one of the games I'd concede a striker and have Mount causing havoc with Mbeumo and Cunha.

We have the players to play in any way we need to.Don't we expect Forest to sit back?
Part of the reason it worked against Liverpool is that they kinda press, but then end up leaving a big gap between their defensive line and the players pressing which is perfect for picking up second balls.
We don't smash anyoneWe'll absolutely smash this lot. We won't lose a game until possibly City or Arsenal in January. By then we'll likely be top or just behind Arsenal. I said it before the Liverpool game we'd beat them go on a long run and end up winning the league. I stand by it.
Don't do this to yourself, man. We'll absolutely smash this lot. We won't lose a game until possibly City or Arsenal in January. By then we'll likely be top or just behind Arsenal. I said it before the Liverpool game we'd beat them go on a long run and end up winning the league. I stand by it.
The amount of posts will probably be 3 times as many as it was after winning 3 in a row.One wonders if we’ll see the Amorim out thread resurface if we lose against Forest. Fans are fickle, me included.

No it won't. The three wins in a row and beating Liverpool away has bought him a lot of credit. The amount of posts will probably be 3 times as many as it was after winning 3 in a row.
I don't think you've seen a bunch of hungry dogs."They" will crawl out like hungry dogs.

Glad we're entering this phase of blind optimism. Makes a change from the negativity.Nah. I've been Amorim out and while I'm not 100% convinced yet, 3 wins in a row is enough for me to back off and see where he can take us, especially with at least one new midfielder and a lwb with better attacking output. One wonders if we’ll see the Amorim out thread resurface if we lose against Forest. We'll see... I think it we will see a bunch of "told you so" posts. No it won't. The three wins in a row and beating Liverpool away has bought him a lot of credit.

It's ridiculous where Forest are in the table when you look at the players they have in the squad.
Unlike West Ham who I can see getting relegated, I think Forest will eventually start climbing their way up the table, unless there's something seriously wrong in the background.
It seems every week is a different type of test for Amorim to see if he is progressing. This week, a tricky away trip to a team who, under Dyche, will probably defend deep and go long in behind at every opportunity. I hope he and the coaching team have learned the lessons from the Brentford game and can cope better than what we did in that game, which was shambolic.
I too suspect he'll play Mount, Cunha, Mbeumo as the front 3 for this one, but is Mount available?
Don't know if Maguire is available either but not sure this is a match up that suits his game. Forest will sit deep and have pace in attack, the type of game that doesn't suit Harry.
Don't listen to things like Talk shite. Problem solved.I really don’t fancy this one. I recall Dyche saying how he’s have United winning more games than Amorim and that he wouldn’t have been afforded the time he has. There are too many easy TalkSport conversational points that could be triggered by a United loss.
That said, we look great at the moment and a win here would be huge in continuing to build the momentum and shutting up some of the critics.

But he’s actually not a part of our best starting XI (well, maybe he is but only against top opposition when we want to have a low block).Amorim had a presser and said Harry is likely not going to play.
Unlikely. Amorim mentioned he won’t be in the matchday squad for this match. But he’s actually not a part of our best starting XI (well, maybe he is but only against top opposition when we want to have a low block).
So Yoro, de Ligt and Shaw are a good combo, and maybe we will also see Licha off the bench for say 10 minutes
yep; i remain hopeful though that this will work long termNah. I've been Amorim out and while I'm not 100% convinced yet, 3 wins in a row is enough for me to back off and see where he can take us, especially with at least one new midfielder and a lwb with better attacking output.
We needed some wins , he's said so himself. We got those now.

Same here. I remember Jon Moss refereeing both games and repeatedly falling for the shithousery from Burnley players whilst Dyche shouted in the 4th official's ear non-stop.Sean Dyche record against Man United
Won 1 Drew 5 Lost 12
I had the misfortune of attending that one win and one of the 5 draws. 2-0 and 2-2 against Burnley in Old Trafford.
Was at both games too. Typical Sean Dyche Burnley performances in both matches.Sean Dyche record against Man United

Great pointI feel for the first time in a long time most fans would pick the same first eleven...which is something that gives a solid foundation to build upon.
You might prefer Mount in there, you might want Licha back asap but THAT is very much the starting eleven for the 25/26 season.
That was my choice tooI wouldn't want Sesko battling Murillo and Milenkovic, one of the games I'd concede a striker and have Mount causing havoc with Mbeumo and Cunha.
I’d still prefer Sesko to start. He is doing well (3 goal contributions in his last 3 games), and a good performance here could give him a needed boostYes, this looks like one where we may not start Sesko and we will try to create overloads with Cunha and Mount moving around.
I think Mount works very well against the top teams.I’d still prefer Sesko to start. He is doing well (3 goal contributions in his last 3 games), and a good performance here could give him a needed boost
