It’d be very good going to get 4 league wins in a row. It’s not going to be an easy game. It’ll be very bitty and Dyche will have them get set pieces all game, trying to make the game a war of attrition and very different from playing Brighton and Liverpool.

Dyche will make it a completely different profile of match we played so far. Forest will be very physical so we need to be strong . Lammens will be severely tested by their Set piece play too.

Not sure but think Dyche also slated Amorim a bit on Talk shite so Amorim better be fired up!

So what you’re saying is that it’s Amorims first real test?

This will be an easy win for us. 3-1.

Just read the sky sports news predictions and he’s predicting the wheels will come off and we’ll revert to type. Predictions a 1-0 Forrest win. Only Arsenal and City have stopped us scoring. I’m very confident and at the same time expecting to be brought crashing down. We need a big win and a clean sheet to boot. Then we can get excited. The PL is a hard league, only Arsenal are looking defensively solid.

So when Licha gets back to his best (we hope) surely it is Yoro, De Ligt and Martinez?

I have such an awful feeling about this game. PTSD from last season I suppose.

They aren't going to press high and the long balls tactics wont work with Dyche's team . I expect them to be very solid defensively.

Like Fulham, this will be a draw.

Yes, no injuries to our players please. Hated those Burnley squads. Wear the real shin protection and wrap those ankles. I can't stand Dyche.

Scored one in their last six and conceded ten iirc. Actually 12 conceded. 5 losses and one draw.

Should be beating them even if it goes back and forth a bit rather than all out pasting.

This really just add to my concerns.

Typical that they suddenly play good against us, not to mention Dyches awful record against as well, which on top of NFO record makes it even more typical.

But we really should beat them, last season was a huge outlier for them, they are more of a 8-15th place team.

I wonder why people repeatedly look at the fixtures last season to compare, apart from tough away matches vs Liverpool, City, Arsenal etc. Every season is a season with different top players, different forms, different managers and systems etc. I don't think the match last season is that relevant at all for coming weekend.

We are a much better team, and they are much worse with a different manager as well.
Guess because of angstgegner stuff, or to have some reference for comparison to calculate expectations? Perhaps Forest is a bigger change than normal, but especially for people focused on a single club or coming from another type of outsider perspective there's more of the "oh the Utd record away at Forest is WX DY LZ"

Some players did stay, though, so some analysis of "tough 1v1s" from last year combined with Amorim/Utd teams faring against Dyche-like tactics, could offer a little insight into what we're up against and how we see our chances in our current form(ation) vs theirs?

Every premier league game is tough. Arguably tougher than ever, so it’s difficult to be confident.
Have to turn up and give 100% to get the 3 points.
We also should be very wary of underestimating FK Qarabag!

That Spurs game would literally be the make or break. Imagine if we got so far and fell at the final hurdle!
    Amorim's first real test, innit?

I wouldn't say I'm confident going into the next game - there's too much baggage from recent years - but there's genuine excitement, and I'll take that. Cannot wait for kick off. Come on United!

If we win this, we could go 2nd in the table! (For a couple of hours at least).

Which is mental really considering it was supposed to be a car crash season.

Even with a potential new manager bounce we should be beating them, they’ve been very poor this season even though they do have some decent players.

We need to be strong, don’t make any stupid mistakes and get the ball to Amad, Mbeumo and Cunha as often as possible.

Forest are horrible, but this will be far from easy, especially with Dyche having spent longer there. Time to see if it’s another false dawn. Anderson and Luiz could be big trouble and it will be about keeping them out of the game. United remain poor away, even with the win at Anfield.

    United 1:0.

Like Brighton, we don't seem to have a good record against Forest in recent years. We lost to them twice home and away last season and they have beaten us in the past 3 PL meetings. If we beat them, I am starting to believe we're turned a corner with Amorim.

Suspect they'll sit deep and look to counter which I think suits the same starting 11 as last week so I hope for an unchanged side. Think we may have to suffer a little at times but I'm buzzing for it and think we'll win by two or three.

As Amorim said we will see more of the ball since Forest will play on the counter. We lost due to a counter last season.

I don’t know why but I think United will really do them.

    Dyche is a prick.

Amorim doesn't need to be fired up, he just needs to out coach gravel gob
