Proper giddy for this…makes a change to be genuinely optimistic of another good performance.

Curious to see how 100m-rated Elliot Anderson fare against our crappy Bruno.

Feeling a bit anxious for some reason. The normal feeling of numbness has been replaced by this tingling anticipation for the game. Hoping for a Sesko brace tomorrow!

Seriously considering staying up at 2am to catch this here in Australia. Last time I did this we beat Liverpool. Hmmm decisions decisions ….

I'm heading out to see Oasis tonight then might stay up to watch us! Also contemplating wearing a united top to the gig

Probably our back down to earth match. Keeping my expectations low.

Be nice if we win this. I hate when we see the early kickoff as it means my mood is ruined if we don’t get a result and I’m unable to watch any other games all weekend.

Nice little win here takes us to 2nd, even momentarily and that can only be good for the moral of the team and club.

But City play Bournemouth tomorrow, so one of them will still be ahead even if we get 3 points
A draw for them and 5-0 for us and we are second on goal difference. If Amorim is actually the man long term we have to put someone to the sword at some point. Arsenal, Liverpool and City will all do it a few times this year. Our goals conceded is bottom half material but our goals scored is on par.

We were doing that to Brighton till Dorgu came on, we probably win that game 4-0 otherwise.

Brighton currently have 14 goals one behind us and two behind Arsenal.

Forrest have the lowest in the league on 5. Haven’t scored in the PL since 5 games ago against Burnley. I still think they are a much much better team than the table shows.

But we also underperform this season compared to our xG and xGA - we scored less than should have and conceded way more

Everything feels a bit too positive and a bit too complacent, have that feeling that a sucker punch is coming in this game. Hopefully wrong, but cant shake it off.

I hope you’re wrong, I’m currently feeling the most positive about United I have felt since the FA cup final. Please keep the love training going guys!

So important this one - if we win today, we can go to Spurs knowing a draw will be a good result - and we will probably be on a C.L-position going into the international break

And a win - and I can sit down and enjoy the 2 games afterwards, knowing that regardless of result - we will be in a better position

We’re flying. Will be a tough away game, but let’s take our chances and not give away soft goals and we should get the win. Trying to keep my expectations low though. We’ve had lots of false dawns post SAF.

I just felt like there were signs of positivity going into the Brentford game and we were immediately brought down to earth in a terrible performance.

Just need the same energy as we have been playing with recently and confidence and I think we win this. But you just never know.

If we can get 4 points out of the next 2 into international break then that’s a great result.

Agreed. Cuhna will be an interesting watch today after getting his weight lifted. Him Sesko and Bruno still need a bit more confidence but it’s coming if we can put in a great performance today.

Yep, still somewhat of that soft/vulnerable underbelly at the back/through the middle, which makes one nervous. But here's hoping that we really have turned a corner!

    Some people here think so....
People are allowed to be question Bruno in midfield two. You are the only one describing him as 'crappy'. An embarrassing post in the middle of a positive build up to the game.

Well they should ask that question to the man who play him there instead of venting their frustation or worse, anger to Bruno.

I think it was sarcasm :p
Taking the mic out if those who’ve criticised him.

Scored one in their last six and conceded ten iirc. Actually 12 conceded. 5 losses and one draw.

Should be beating them even if it goes back and forth a bit rather than all out pasting.

I would agree more if they hadn't had a change of manager. Really hyped for this but it's very easy to see us drawing or losing.

Can't decide what team I want to see. Think I'd rather see mbeumo, Cunha and mount as the front 3 but I don't want sesko to start to lose confidence if he keeps being put on the bench.

I wonder why people repeatedly look at the fixtures last season to compare, apart from tough away matches vs Liverpool, City, Arsenal etc. Every season is a season with different top players, different forms, different managers and systems etc. I don't think the match last season is that relevant at all for coming weekend.

We are a much better team, and they are much worse with a different manager as well.
Yeah I've never understood the comparison to previous season's equivalent game.
