    -------Herrera----Pogba-------
    Lingard---Mkhitaryan--Martial
    -------------Zlatan-------------

4 days before our Europa Mickey Mouse League Save our Season game against Anderlecht.

Sunderland are not good, we're not good.

They'll play long ball, cross and try to play the second ball... You know what I mean... FELLAINI !!!

To be serious, we don't have a lot of choice, and I'm not sure Jose will rotate much for this game. Playing Sunday-Thursday is not difficult, it's more the Chelsea game and playing Thursday-Sunday that's difficult.

I'd like Jose to rotate and let the players be fresh for Anderlecht and Chelsea game but I doubt he'll do it.

    What id like

    ---------------------------------De Gea----------------------------------
    Young-------------------Bailly-----------Blind-----------------------Shaw
    -------------------------Fellaini----------Pogba--------------------------
    Lingard--------------------------Rooney---------------------------Martial
    -----------------------------------Ibra-------------------------------------

    What Mou'll do

    ---------------------------------De Gea----------------------------------
    Valencia----------------Bailly-----------Rojo-----------------------Shaw
    -------------------------Herrera---------Pogba--------------------------
    Lingard--------------------------Fellaini---------------------------Martial
    -----------------------------------Ibra-------------------------------------

I think we will win this one comfortably, but it hardly matters anymore. I can't see us beating Chelsea or City this month so we're not going to make the ground up.

There's plenty of time between this and the Europa League game, but it might be best to rest a couple of players anyway.

I want to see something new in terms of how we play in the PL now. Top 4 isn't happening so José can save his tactical nous for the Europa, but let's just do something different from lumping balls to Zlatan and Fellaini. Go full Roger Schmidt Salzburg on them.

Imagine if we drop points here? Words won't express.

    -----------------DDG----------------
    Darmian--Bailly---Rojo------Shaw
    -----------Herrera---Fellaini-------
    Mkhitaryan---Pogba-----Martial----
    ---------------Zlatan-----------------

SUBS - Lingard (Mkhitaryan), Rashford (Martial), Blind (Shaw).

    Sunderland 0 - 2 Man United
    Zlatan and an own goal.

Haven't Sunderland gone about 2 months without scoring?
Also, how many times have we failed to beat some pony at home, and then won comfortably away? Quite a few times surprisingly.

Easy win this one. Can't imagine anything worse than losing to Moyes.

A thumping would be ideal for obvious reasons.

However genuinely (a bit) scared that Moyes will get something from this game and act like we were wrong to sack him to his media buddies.

If we lose this Mourinho and most of the team should be sacked on the spot.

If we start the right players, go at them tacticslly, and play with confidence, we might just pull off the upset.

Expect them to try and do what Everton did by getting in front and try hitting us on the counter. Boro had gone like 6 months without a goal until they played us so wouldn't surprise me if Sunderland got one at least. I had hoped this would be the game where we could relegate them (for personal reasons and for their carry on when we lost the title) but it's not worked out.

Annoying how both teams played yesterday and we play again on Thursday next week, but Sky have decided to put this one on Sunday rather than Saturday lunchtime - God for-fecking-bid we get an extra day to prepare for our next game

It's Moyes and a good opportunity to remember how he rucked our team up.
Will enjoy pushing them one step closer to the mire

Europa League has to be the priority now so we should go:

    Romero
    Young - Fosu-Mensah - Rojo - Shaw
    Carrick - Fellaini
    Lingard - Rooney - Martial
    Rashford

If we can't win this then we're in trouble. Sunderland haven't scored for months.

TFM as a CB? Why not Blind if you don't want Bailly. Because of their "favoured foot"? Or is he injured? Young will likely not play since he couldn't continue against Everton.

tbh I completely forgot about Blind I'd be happy with him playing there, I just hope we rest a lot of the key players so that they're ready for Anderlecht.

You're right but I think Mourinho will give the PL one last chance. There's still a realistic chance to be top 4. Sure, a lot of difficult games left but the table at the moment:

    3. Liverpool - 31 games - 60 points
    4. Manchester City - 30 games - 58 points
    5. Arsenal - 29 games - 54 points
    6. Manchester United - 29 games - 54 points

    Away game
    + No bus parking
+ Sunderland bottom of the league
    + D.Moyes can't beat a top 6 side
    = Win for us

    I think we'll win 2-0.
And before anybody says that we can't score 2 goals: in our last game against Everton, we did actually score 2 goals, but the lineman ruled one of the goals out.
