    Hopefully we wake up in the second half. Been poor, out worked all over the park by Sunderland, lucky not to be behind.
     
    Wish we'd get rid of Zirkzee and Mount in the summer. Mount in particular seems unlikely though
     
    Imagine chasing an assist record and the manager starts Joshua feckin Zirkzee
     
    Terrible performance and we are not down simply because Sunderland aren't clinical enough to score
     
    Gonna be a tough slog under Carrick next season I think unless we have an amazing transfer window.

    Yeah, he hasn't been good for a while, but this is a game where everyone is rubbish. He is still basically the only one able to hold on to the ball a bit in the final third.
     
    Just about everybody's been shite. When that happens I tend to look at the coach. Or maybe it's just simply because our squad players are nowhere near good enough.

    Always likely to happen after having sewn up CL of course, but it doesn't make it any more fun to watch.
     
    Should be the last time we see Zirkzee in a United shirt. If we've any standards. Even as a squad player he's fecking diabolical.
     
    Sound like a really poor game from us. But that midfield is non existent, Mainoo really is the only CM there so I’m not surprised they are the better team in that sense. We’ve tried this midfield two years ago and it didn’t work then and it’s not going to work now.
     
    Half of this 11 should not be retained, even as sub options. I'm afraid they are not good enough for PL football and we should try to get some transfer fees for them, whilst we can!

    I think it’s a perfect game to show the board the kind of mass cleanse and addition we still need to stay competitive in the league next season. Hope we get it right in summer
     
    Tyler Fletcher for Mount and Mbuemo for ZZ at half time please. Everyone was pretty bad though.
     
    ZZ game so far is like spaceship eating a night when a shirt cut through the flush with watch on east pole.

    In one off game, the same personnel also lost to both earlier in the season.

    What’s certainly more worrying is we’ve looked progressively worse every week after the initial couple of games, probably as bad as the worst of Ole ball in his final couple of months. Results have held up but underlying stats will always catch up to you at some points. We need major reinforcements, and that might not be enough to maintain this level of results if the manager can’t drill them to play better football than this.
     
    Zirkzee is a terrible footballer I don’t care if he manages to throw his tree like frame at the ball for it to very occasionally end up in the net
     
    Think people need to take a collective deep breath. Its a meaningless game and we all know the limitations of the squad, especially with a couple of key players out. Should still be playing better but it’s not a huge deal.
     
    Knew there would be a drop off after CL secured, also meant Carrick is going to take some criticism too
     
    Playing like a bunch of individuals in the final third, Zirkzee, Mount and Amad all terrible, who do we even have to bring on? Mbuemo & Dorgu? We desperately need 2 CDMs in the summer, without Case we've no control
     
    We have a hard time dealing with the physicality of the PL anyway, so it's no surprise we look even worse without Casemiro and Sesko. The positive is that we've gotten into the game after a horrible start, but only through set pieces as the players out there aren't good enough to play through their press or hold onto the ball from a long pass.

    Zirkzee for Mbeumo surely has to be the first sub. I'd be tempted to try Heaven in midfield just so have some sort of physical presence there. If a point was offered right now I'd take it but maybe they'll tire out as the game goes on and we'll knick it.
     
    The conditions and the pitch aren't great either, which does contribute a bit here, it must be said.

    It's a competitive PL game. It's not meaningless
     
    Our starting XI is decent, but the drop in quality is huge whenever we need to rotate players.
