I'd say he's just giving players who'll be here next season a rest/a game. Mount Maz and Zirkzee all deserve a start. I'd say Mount will start in CM with Mainoo and Bruno going gung-ho for the record. It's a glorified preseason. Ugarte definitely off by the looks of things unless he's injured?I'd have stuck with Heaven's form and brought on Licha in the second half.

Really harsh for Heaven to lose his place. Sends the wrong message.One criticism people labelled at Carrick, especially in his first few games, was that he played the same 10 or 11 players every week. I'm glad to see him drop Mbeumo and Dalot when they're not performing well. We're not blessed with a deep squad but we're comfortably sat in 3rd so why not tinker a little bit?
