First game for new manager?
Bailly is an absolute liability even compared to the alternatives.Players I want to see -
Cavani, DvB, lingard, telles, bailly, sancho
The reality -
Mcfred, Shaw, maguire, rashford, ronaldo.
Based on his recent run of passing to opposition players to create 1 on 1’s with DDG it would have to be a brain injury. We’ll probably see the same team unless Varane is back. Ole won’t have the balls to drop Maguire either. Something is not right with him. Playing with an injury?
This. The basics aren’t being met in regards to working hard and tracking players so we need to get our hardworking players out there regardless of their quality. At least to settle things down a bit.Players I want to see -
Cavani, DvB, lingard, telles, bailly, sancho
The reality -
Mcfred, Shaw, maguire, rashford, ronaldo.
Ole won't make changes like that after his post match statements. He feels he's close to something grand with his selections and tactics. Making that many changes will look like he's conceding he got it wrong and has resorted to throwing shit at a wall to see what sticks. Doubt our owners or the board would recognize that anyway and would see it as him trying something revolutionary.Players I want to see -
Cavani, DvB, lingard, telles, bailly, sancho
The reality -
Mcfred, Shaw, maguire, rashford, ronaldo.
Nuno: “Lads, it’s Man United”Lads, its' Spurs!
It's you. He's not been at his best, which you can say for everyone bar de Gea, but Bruno has still been one of our better performers. Is it just me or has Bruno been absolutely useless for the last 2 months ?
They played against West Ham and we still lost. If they play here, we will lose too. Telles, Bailly, Lingard and Van de Beek aren't better players than Shaw, Maguire, Rashford and Fernandes. Making those changes would be just making changes for the sake of it.Players I want to see -
Cavani, DvB, lingard, telles, bailly, sancho
The reality -
Mcfred, Shaw, maguire, rashford, ronaldo.
he might as well play the WW formation. That might confuse the opposition but most probably confuse ourselves too.4-2-4 again.
Fullbacks all over the shop, Bruno playing as a 2nd striker. No lessons learnt by the manager or coaching staff from the previous games.
It's probably 'Lads, it's United!' these days.Lads, its' Spurs!
I think you're right, but it doesn't really make a difference what XI plays, it always performs crap regardless. There should be a huge reaction in terms of changes after a result like this, but like you I think there won't be many. The most obvious one has already been taken out of our hands. Varane will be back if he's fit, and I can see one of Rashford or Greenwood being taken out, that's probably it.What really irritates me is that there will be 1 or 2 changes from todays side.
There is seemingly zero accountability for performance levels.
