Mourinho won the Premier League two seasons ago. By this logic Fergie would have been out of a job during our baron spell in the 2000's and we all know what he went on to do a few years later. If anything, Mourinho should get full support to do whatever he wants to this team, if that means selling the likes of Rooney, Blind, Young, Depay and whoever else to create his own team, then I fully support it.
On a year with absolutely no competition, by having the best team, and despite that, they played well for just a half of season.

I was all for Mourinho getting the job, but he should take a look in the mirror and change things, starting from stripping Rooney of captaincy and a place in the team.

Blind is by far our best defender. Selling him would only enforce my opinion that Mourinho doesn't know what he is doing.

Right, well... time to panic. Honestly, it might be early but I find it difficult to genuinely consider us title contenders after 3 straight defeats, especially when City are playing so well. Thought today was absolutely pathetic. Every player was awful for at least the 2nd game in a row. Embarrassed today. Would love to know the last time Mourinho lost 3 games in a row? Had he ever before now?

We have a lot of players left over from previous reigns who simply inspire zero confidence and have no bottle or fight in them.
Excuses is what those are. Sorry but the same City players have improved their level. We have been playing shite football and our tactics have been horribly wrong the last 3 games. Playing Pogba in a midfield two with Fellaini is silly. Fellaini again had a bang average game but some here will try to say that he was the only one working in midfield. I was counting the amount of times he missed a tackle, misplaced a pass or lost an aerial duel and they kept on increasing to the point I lost track.

Crux of the matter is that with players like Rooney and Fellaini in the team, we will be average every time.

Time for Jose to earn his paycheck and pick a team on form rather than name and height.

Commentator on BT said that the last time he lost 3 90-minute games in a row was in 2002 with Porto.

It's just awful to watch us play, actually pissing me off. Mourinho got an enormous job in front of him. The players looks just confused and don't know what to do, just shocking really. And no, Mourinho hasn't been here long, but so hasn't Guardiola been in City either. And look how they play compared to us. Guardiola who had zero experience from the league, while Mourinho have won the league several times with Chelsea. Is it our players who's just got a fecked up mentality or what is it? It clearly doesn't work playing with Fellaini-Pogba together in the midfield. Pogba should play further up in the pitch while Rooney needs to be benched. We need more creativity and quick players in our midfield too, and the clear option there is Herrera. I want to see Carrick back in our line-up too as our holding anchor.

Wow. Puts into perspective our current state. Not sure what the problem is. The talent should be there but nobody is performing.

Weren't we suppose to cruise now that we're playing with a lot of tall and hardworking players?

What a job it seems to be to manage our club post Sir Alex!.. c'mon Jose have the bottle to drop players like Rooney.

Not putting this defeat on Rooney but ffs pick a team which is balanced and not because of a players "name"!!!

Carrick sitting, with Herrera and Pogba doing the running. God knows what Carrick and Herrera were thinking.

This team is pissing me off as they play with no desire, effort, team play, cohesion and on most 2 balls we come second and every area of the team is underperforming greatly which worry me as it means the team have no spine or leadership. Im sick of these shit players and especially Rooney and the protection he gets from the Media even when he plays like a shit League 1 Footballer. Remove him from the team now and be done with it, enough is enough.

they're not even hard working right now. I always associated mourinho sides with a certain intensity on, and off the ball. Here, it's jsut as lethargic as the moye's and lvg era's at their worst

Wayne Rooney should be written off immediately (or exchange with Schwenstiger who could be the calming influence). He is too slow and looses the ball easily.
Smalling has probably lost it and seems to be nervous on the ball.
Baily has been affected by him. Probably need to bring back Blind or go and buy another ball playing center back. Maybe convert Carrick or Schneiderlin to one. United should have played with 3 center backs with wing backs to cross for Ibrahimovic as he has shown that with the correct crosses he can put the ball on target.
Shaw only has speed but is not effective moving forward.
Looks like there is a lack of confidence with some of the players.

Christ, another amateur footballer. It's simple, the ball is hit low so if he's going to try and use his arms he has to shift his weight to get his body down, basicly his arms wouldn't be at the height of the ball until the ball is in the back of the net, not to mention that he needs to have enough force to actually block the shot. The best chance to save the shot is using his feet.

I'm amazed even an amateur footballer having played in goal for 35 years doesn't know that.
Rubbish.. given that tactic no keeper would ever use his hands for anything below the knee. Total lack of understanding of goalkeeping, I suggest. Proof is in the pudding: all he did was kick the ball into the net. It is one of his few weaknesses but he uses his feet far to much. He did the same thing in midweek and it didn't work there either. He had a poor game today: awul mess up with Smalling earlier

 It's situational, it's not a "every ball below the knee use your feet". And no. If he had somehow ended up saving it by the edge of his cock, should he always try to save shots with the edge of his cock ?

He fecked up when he didn't signal for the ball and clattered into Smalling, apart from that he didn't do anything wrong.

Rooney comments aside (and we're all on that page) you really want to have that knee looked at.
