Can Ole please gat off his arse and try and energise this lot.
Don't be silly, you know that all proper man management is done in the dressing room at half time. At no point shall you scream at your players from the touchline, it's a sign of weakness and signals that there is trouble. You must always have a Bagdad Bob approach and look as if everything is fine in public.

Why don’t our attackers make runs? Everyone is so static. Can’t see how we’re going to break them down playing like this.

I have never seen a player at this level with such a complete lack of awareness as Paul Pogba

In fact I have not ever seen a player at any level with such a compete lack of awareness

I don't care how much 'talent' he apparently has, he's simply not a good footballer

Gary Neville going on like he never had a bad game. Someone should show this pleb a few highlight reels of how good he really wasn't. Big mouth, part of the anti-United brigade, even if he doesn't realise it.
Weird take. Neville usually holds back on criticism because Oles in charge and he doesn’t want to be too critical. But even he cannot watch this shambles and say nothing.

Difficult to put in words how poor that first half was. Like we're on sedatives! It's a miracle we're only one down. Pogba is done, sadly. And Martial, can't even shake off the funk on your birthday???

Struggling to come up with language appropriate for Pogba and Martial’s dismal effort in first half. Verging on intentional self sabotage and team doesn’t stand a chance while they are so self destructive.

My goodness Pogba. I’m not even one of his haters but I’m losing patience with this guy. Stuck in 2nd gear and losing the ball so easily.

Ole needs to take off Pogba and martial for Rashford and Bruno since they are both on the bench. Don't wait

feck me at this stage I'd have David fecking bellion over martial
There has been one player more abject... Pogba. A liability. Who says this muppet is world class. He is not. Stephane Guivarc'h was a World Cup winner. And he was dire. Dumped by Glasgow Rangers FFS. Getting a World Cup winners' medal does not make you a worldbeater. Pogba is abject. And worse, poisonous in the dressing room as we saw under Mourinho.. .and when he keeps publicly angling to leave the club. Get him off and out of Old Trafford.

They are all miserable, but Paul Pogba is simply dreadful. Get him of the fecking pitch!
I don´t agree at all, I think Pogba has shown lots of positives, although this attempt at dribble was weak there in the end.

Feels like every time we go to London Stadium the pitch feels so cramped and we never have time on the ball. Swear the pitch is smaller than any other in the league. Feel like we've created one decent chance their in the past four years.

My god that was bad. As bad as it’s been.

I’m starting to think Bruno Fernandes is our only good player.

That was woeful. 1-0 not too bad given the sheer ineptitude of just about every player.

Is it too much to ask for basic football...... Fuming and seething here.

If Pogba and Martial are still on after HT, feck right off....

Some of these players are a disgrace, you know you have massive issues when they can’t be bothered putting any effort. Looking at Martial, Greenwood, VdB, Pogba, all awful that half. Cavani at least puts a shift in.

Either play Pogba as a 10 or bench him, he can’t play a deep playing CM.

Blast from the past performance, back to the awful times before Bruno joined.
Why he started Martial and Pogba I do not know, he doesn’t seem to learn.

A major plus side is that it's only 1-0 and we can definitely come back and still win this, with the right mentality, tactics and aggression.

However, I'm so tired of watching well below average performances like this. We are not improving as a footballing side and the quality of our play is abysmal. Our average, typical, weekly performance is nowhere near to what it should be.

How West Ham haven't put us to bed I've no clue, we've looked so hopeless, even by our often low standards.
That’s virtually the only small bit of positivity I can take from that half. How it is only 1-0, is just a complete miracle.

The thing is we are supposed to be good when teams are coming at us, maybe Rashford is the key to our counter but we just look hopeless in every area of the pitch. If Ole loses here and on Tuesday he will be lucky to keep his job

This looks similar to the last few months of Mourinho.

It's not the managers, it's the players who are shit. They don't run, they aren't creative and the have no heart. Get rid of the problem children already.
jose lost the squad and deservingly so.. he was acting like a cnut when the board didnt back him. Ole hasnt lost the squad.. hes just complete dogshit and doesnt belong in this job..

It's both. The inconsistency shows there is talent, albeit not enough, but clearly the manager and the players have no idea how to extricate it more often.

Switch the positions of VDB and Pogba and we won't look as disjointed. But Ole can't see this, can he?

I couldn't see Klopp or pep getting anything out of players like martial and pogba, theyre the type of people who think they deserve everything while they sit about and do nothing. It's like playing with 9 men. And then we have our centre backs who don't have a clue where they are supposed to be.

What a horrible first half. Pogba has to come off. He's been brutal. And Telles needs to stop turning his back on his man. That's two games in a row he's turned his back on the goal scorer when he's closest to him. He also needs to get tighter on Bowen. Speaking of which, I've said it before and I will say it again, if we are looking for a left footed winger, then we should be going for Bowen. He is fantastic. Pogba off and Bruno on. And if Greenwood doesn't start picking up his man (like on that free cross that nobody closed down but Bowen was called offside) then he needs to come off too. Horrible first half. Let's see what kind of changes we make for second half...

    There's only one United!
We'll win this eventually and people will be boasting how he's got us close to the top
No matter what the final score is we need :
    a DOF;
    a new manager;
a couple of class Bruno players

I'm so tired of seeing this team playing without any sort of urgency. We're late to loose balls, no ones making any runs, we look half-assed and complacent when receiving the ball even though the West Ham players are close to us. No one in our team is making that run on the back post they scored from, we're simply not gambling on where the ball might end up (maybe bar Cavani but he's been starved of service).
