This may be a walk in the park or a total mess, can't say really. We've been so inconsistent in our performances that it wouldn't surprise me if we win by 3 or lose.

Rice and Soucek will slaughter us in midield.

We'll lose count of the amount of times they stride away from Fred.
Care to answer in which games Rice & Soucek have slaughtered us in midfield or even strided past Fred countless times?

I don’t think Fred has even started a game when we have lost to West Ham.

I wonder if he'll answer, I'm interested too.

West Ham with a strong side vs Dinamo.

TBF Rice has come on a bit more since last season. Take a look at his goal tonight as evidence. I’d be more confident if we had McT beside Fred to combat his physicality but there you go.
Be an interesting selection in midfield. Matic can match him physicality and has better technique but Rice has legs. Win this midfield battle and keep possession and I see us winning. They will miss Antonio who’s been a handful for CZ

The unbeaten away record is in danger of ending here but a score draw looks most likely result in this match.

No excuses Ole. Hammers away tonight, we have rested since Tuesday night so can’t be tired. Antonio is suspended everything is in our favour. If we lose this one then I think Ole will be under in big pressure. I have us as 2-0 winners.

It's great seeing Rashford back in training again, we've missed his explosive pace. I just hope he finds his form again quickly when he returns.

Expecting a win anything less is catastrophic. The team must kick on this season, the manager also needs to go up a level. Disappointing result against Young Boys easily redeemable with a good performance against Hammers.

It'll be the team that played against Newcastle with the possibility that Fred plays instead of Matic.

    No shitting around

    DDG

    Dalot, Varane, Maguire,Shaw
    VDB,Fred
    Greenwood, Bruno, Pogba
    Ronnie

AWB out, not because of the red card, he simply needs some time to cool down.
Knowing this, he 'll probably start, and Jadon will be in the starting 11 as well
Nothing to add here. Except that I am not sure that Ole won't play Pogba instead of VDB and start Jadon. So I wouldn't be surprised if we see something like this

    DDG
    AWB,Varane, Maguire,Shaw
    Pogba, Fred
    Greenwood, Bruno, Jadon
    Ronnie

West Ham played very well tonight.
True but you have to take into account that Dinamo played badly, of course them playing was in part of the West Ham but Hammers never got out of 1st gear and didnt have to.
Saying that, I havent watched them a lot but they do have a really solid team and are playing some nice stuff. Kudos to Moyes for getting his career back on track.

It’ll be a tough game, for sure. Obviously the lack of Antonio will help us, but it’s certainly not going to be easy. West Ham are a very good side

    Line-up should be straight-forward:

    DDG
    AWB - Varane - Maguire - Shaw
    Pogba - Fred
    Greenwood - Bruno - Sancho
    Ronaldo

We are far too open at the back because of our very disjointed midfield, which most teams can just walk through, at the moment. Even Newcastle managed it a few times. Cannot see us getting anything at West Ham who are now a very well organised and hard working team, even after playing on Thursday and with Antonio banned.

I was reasonably confident when the fixtures came out but given how we struggled at Southampton, made a real meal of it for 60 mins against Newcastle and Tuesday's absolutely appalling performance, I wouldn't be surprised if we got stuffed. No doubt, once again, we will be hoping for a few moments of magic from one or two players to see us through and i that doesn't work, Ol will replace Ronaldo with Phil Jones and play a 9-1-0 formation...

Oh, I didn't realise Antonio couldn't play - that's pretty good news. Although we are likely to make 105-year-old Mark Noble look like prime Roy Keane!

That's before you consider the woeful performance at Wolves.

I hate West Ham away at the best of times...hopefully Sancho can start to settle a bit and we can find some sort of control in the midfield

Looks like Phil Jones passing school. Everything is starting to make sense now.
