This has always been a tricky fixture for us, no matter the manager. West Ham have been playing much better lately and are in a relegation fight. We will have a lot of the ball and they have players that can hurt us in transition. Cannot underestimate them.

Obvs a win would be great but this could be a very tough game for us. I have faith in Carrick and his team though to come up with a strategy to turn those feckers over.

Wonder if this is the game where we need to unlock the deep defence. I guess Spurs sort of did that today.

The only problem playing one game a week is the squad players don't have games to get match fit. Can't see what changes are possible. Maybe Maz to come in for Dalot, as he has enough game time in the African nations.

Maybe give Sesko a start over Diallo, Cunhu or Mbeumo.

Then there is Ugarte. But he's shown no form to bring him in. I can definitely see Casemerio tiring in the West Ham game. So maybe bring him on for the second half and start with Ugarte.

The rest probably has to stay the same

They're in really good form at the moment, but we're still a much better team. Bowen and Summerville are going to be the difference makers for them, but should be mindful about Mateus Fernandes too. Got a really nice shot on him.

It would be these cnuts next. That haircut dude might be in trouble.

Tough game, first one since Carrick arrived with a 3 day turnaround rather than a week. I think he may need to rest Casemiro. That was a savage blow he took today for their red card. Did well to play 87 minutes after that. Have a feeling something could develop from that over the next day or two. Hope not as he was outstanding today. Plus Nuno has the Hammers playing better recently. They will be back from Burnley tonight, whilst we likely only have one light training session on Monday before travelling to London. This will not be easy at all.

Just keep it going, Reds. And don't get too cocky, gonna be a tough game. More hard work.

Can we complete the Ham treble?

West Ham have three wins in their last four. Pretty good form, and I feel like we often struggle with them away. This could be where the winning streak ends.

Last midweek game of the season for us I think. Probably need some level of rotation here, though really I'd just guess Sesko in for this one over Cunha. Casemiro I'm nervous about as his poor performances tend to be when he's fatigued, but you gotta trust him given form.

    Lammens
    Dalot Maguire Martinez Shaw
    Amad Casemiro Mainoo Mbeumo
    Bruno
    Sesko

Going to be a tough one, this.

They invented the passing game and won the World Cup, you know.

Bowen always seems to turn up against us.

Him and sommerville are threats for sure.

Does Summerville play on their left? Maz should start this I reckon.

will be 4 London clubs in a row.

The Ham Treble is what we live for these days.

C’mon, Cazza! Win this, and no one will do you like they keep doing Ole with that ‘never won anything’ shtick!

You start your strongest team always, unless you are 20 points ahead in the league. No way does Ugarte start over Casemiro or Mainoo.

Pity we weren't playing them 3 or 4 weeks ago when they were in terrible form and the atmosphere in their stadium was toxic. They've now won 3 out of 4 and their players (and fans) have always been game raising cnuts against us.

Their team and fans will be well up for it especially as they're only 3 points off Forest, so we need to be on it from the very start. There won't be any room to slowly settle into the game.

I've predicted a 2-1 win for us but the game stinks of a 1-1 draw.

    Let the discussion begin...
    A tough game awaits here....

Would be sensational to make it 5 in a row. I can't call this one at all, we need to be really disciplined at the back and control the midfield.

Isn't there supposedly a barbers in the new Carrington now, think the media team should reach out. Let Carrick and whoever scores the winning goal take the first snips.

    If we win of course.

This would actually be great PR. His barnet is so big now, like sideshow bob.

Neh let’s not encourage idiots like this in the future. If we don’t win the one saving grace is this twat has to carry on.

On paper, the easiest game in Carrick's first five. In reality, a major banana peel.
Nope, easiest on paper would be Spurs. Only three teams have more points than West Ham in the last 5 games, and one of those teams barely beat them.

    Us, Chelsea and Bournemouth.

I absolutely hate West Ham away but truth is, they won against Spurs (A), Burnley (A) and Sunderland (H). I'd consider only Sunderland an achievement in that list. Spurs are pathetic.

So you're like a glass half empty kinda guy huh?

You're right, but I can see Casemiro dropping a level with 2 games in 4 days.

Lets keep the momentum going. Same team as yesterday. Need to be alert to not get caught on the counter.
