Really think they will be focused on the semi final at the weekend. We need to use the width much better this time. I would start Fred, Dalot and maybe even Periera. We need real energy and zip in our play. Herrera and Matic are too slow at the moment.

Have to agree with this, we need to be pressing them constantly and getting bodies in and around the box. High energy vital to defense.

Could be a good game for McTominay, he gets around fairly well.

Would defiantly play Dalot to get crosses in as they will sit deep and frustrate. Maybe even match them up with wing backs and really squeeze up the pitch

With our recent form being the worst under Ole, we will have to dig deep to win this one. Ole needs to send a strong message to the players especially the midfielders that their performance is just not good enough. They need a kick up their ass. I would drop both Matic and Herrera and start McTominay and Fred/Pereira instead.

tbf this is easily our hardest remaining away game so the significance of 3 points shouldn't overlooked
We still have Everton, City and Chelsea to play among others. We aren't suddenly finishing top 4 just because we hypothetically put Wolves away.

We owe this feckers a beating, not that we are not capable of doing that. We need better from everyone compared to yesterday’s showing.

Wolves away is much harder than Chelsea home and Everton. Pretty much every top team dropped points there.

I don't see how we beat them tbh.
Well we do have a better football team than them for a start. Wolves are a good side, but I suspect they also have the visit of Manchester United down as one of their most difficult games too. Because good as they are, they are not as good as us.

I just can't see us losing twice against Wolves away in 3 weeks

We need to improve right away if we are going to get the top 4. yesterday's game was awful, we were really lucky to end up with the three points.

I’m worried about Ole's tactics, we seem like a one trick pony, always counterattacking football even at home against weaker teams.

The same way I knew we’d lose when we went to West Ham in 2016 for a crucial top 4 game because we had beaten them in the cup a couple of weeks earlier, I’m confident of winning this as we lost to them in the cup a couple of weeks earlier. That’s the way it has always worked for us.

If the team is getting picked on merit I'd like to see the below line-up, obivously Young will start regardless of anything so I am just going with him despite how poor he's been in the last 2 or 3 games.

I've got exactly the same uneasy feeling I had in the days leading up to the cup game. but why the bloody hell have we got two games in four days when Arsenal have not?

We certainly need to be more awake then we were in the cup game and on Saturday. The Rash/Martial thing didn't work at Moulineux last time, so I'd like to see Lukaku given a game if he's fit (cue the usual abuse here)

We have been extremely poor in the two games we have played against them this season. The midfield in particular have been bossed by both Neves & Moutinho. Need to take the game to them and don’t allow them to settle down and start controlling the game like we have done in the previous two encounters.

Quite happily take a performance/result similar to the Watford one with the Barcelona delegation leaving the match non the wiser how we'll actually play in the Quarter-Final tie.
This keeps floating through my mind as well. I'm really hoping that's what Ole's trying to accomplish. Alternatively, he's just trying to figure out who to keep and who to sell off without losing matches we shouldn't lose.

At least our injured players have had a few more games and training time then when we rocked up there in the cup.
That day we were well off the pace.

Know what to expect this time round and have to be ready

    Must win game.

Im guessing they will rest a few players like neves jiminez and jota with one eye on semi final. Replace them with helder costa, traore and gibbs white.

    I would start with

    De gea
    Young lindelof smalling shaw

    Pogba herrera fred

    Rashford lukaku martial

Would be nice if our players could actually respond to a poor performance. Seems like it's been a while.

Hope lessons were learnt. I think Fred deserves another chance. If Martial picked up a knock then start Lukaku. Also if Lingard can play I think he should

I think we have to play Lukaku up front as wolves will play the same way like they in Fa cup game.

They have an FA Cup game coming up. The league position is more or less settled for them so this result doesn't matter that much to them. So I'm hoping they'll rest a few players or atleast won't go full throttle for this match.
It's a game against Man Utd - every team's biggest game of the season, especially at home; the semi-final won't affect it all I don't think.

I'd like to think Ole has already made his mind up who are must keeps going forward, who are quality squad players best kept around, and who are expendable. Don't think there's anything he's gonna learn now about the players in League matches unless one or two of the Academy lads get a run out.

He's persisted with Matic and Herrera for two games now and it backfired both times. Start Fred and McTominay instead.

Hoping Wolves go easy on us is pretty damn pathetic, pull yourself together man.

One week ago everyone wanted Herrera to be made next captain. Now, he doesn’t even make the suggested line-ups.

That’s why he should have never even been in discussion for the captaincy.

They just beat us pretty convincingly two weeks back. And Wolves have been excellent against the top 6 teams. Our form of late has been a bit poor. So yes I'll take any bit of edge that we can get. Even Ole mentioned that Wolves will have the FA Cup to think about while this is like a cup final for us.
