  1. Jamie Vardy

That's a great record to have
  2. Is Gerrard's title win at Rangers any different to Solskjaer's double title win at Molde?

Oles achievements are discussed with reference to getting the United job You're right in that people give more credit to achievements they're familiar with, but the situations aren't the same.
  3. Who decided to sign Van De Beek?

The drop off to Pereira/Lingard was a big problem last year. We either misjudged what kind of player vdb is or tried to kill 2 birds with one stone by getting backup for multiple positions. Then performances by Matic, Martial and others made the signing seem even more bizarre with hindsight...
  4. Manchester United vs Liverpool

    That was pisspoor from henderson
  5. Manchester United vs Liverpool

Shaw fizzed that in and Pogba and Mctominay are stood waiting for the flag
  6. Our fresh batch of deadwood

Every squad in the world has 'deadwood'. The difference now is they're young(William/James/vdb), on short term contracts(Mata) or have a decent enough reputation(vdb). Our squad is being managed well.
  7. Manchester United vs Leicester City

    Sutton is painful
  8. Greenwood's near post finishing

Are there any decent studies on laterality of players and finishing? If the majority of keepers are stronger on their right, do statistics show more near post goals from left footed players cutting in from the right, than right footed from the left? And then the reverse for far post finishes?
  9. Aston Villa vs Manchester United

    Shaw is so good
  10. Aston Villa vs Manchester United

    Surely a broken foot there
  11. Aston Villa vs Manchester United

I'd be tempted to put in an actual academy striker when Cavani isn't playing. The lack of presence in the box is so blatant. Cavani would have two by now
  12. Premier League Gameweek 35/36

    That's a stonewall penalty to be fair:lol:
  13. Jose Mourinho - Roma manager (from 2021-22 season)

Loved seeing him struggle with Spurs but I hope he does well here. A successful Mourinho and Roma is good for the game.
  14. Swiss Ramble twitter thread on Glazers ownership

Part of our terrible expenditure on players is due to penny pinching. Being proactive in the market saves you money in the long run. We sat on our hands whilst teams in the league signed the top talents in Europe and then we had to play catch up with reactionary signings.
