Yet AWB managed to change the direction of his foot, so that he avoided contact. Elliot was 'cute' in getting contact. Unfortunately, it's part of the game.
I think you're giving the keeper too much credit. He pushed him, because that's what players do in that position and he didn't appear to appeal for offside, so I don't think it entered his mind. But as they said on MOTD, it might be something...
Me too.
What I can't believe is the number of pundits etc that repeat "you just don't expect this from United" almost every other week. This game might have been really bad, but really, they've been horrible to watch for too many seasons now.
It might just be that you're only getting more exposure to this because of social media. I first encountered it over twenty years ago and learned it was a thing in mainland Europe for some time.
I see other players doing this too; a new trend. Before long, he'll have a bad game for England and fans will be saying "if Jude didn't keep giving his coats to freezing children, we wood uv won that game!"
They might have changed it for a spell/particular show, but I think they always say the audience represents the national vote and that's how I remember it. Sadly, I went and checked a few of the previous shows on iPlayer to confirm it.
