  1. Phil Jones | released summer 2023

You don't really think Phil Jones injury problems are caused by him jumping into tackles do you?
  2. Phil Jones | released summer 2023

To be fair, you did say; At no point in 2019 is Phil Jones, ever, EVER the first choice CB for MUFC. I'd go so far as to say he has never been first choice CB at his time at the club. This was then demonstatably proved wrong, in 18/19, when he was fit, he was out starter. I get that a lot of...
  3. Marcus Rashford | 2021/22 Performances

Feck me I can't wait to have him back for us. Top player who I think will have a really good season and will move us up another level.
  4. Phil Jones | released summer 2023

 Fair enough, I'm old enough to know that you can't always take written word on face value as you miss most of the meaning etc... I assumed 'thin skinned' was digging into him, if not, apologies
  5. Phil Jones | released summer 2023

That's just absolutely not true in any way at all is it? Fred gets criticized, people stick up for him. McTominay gets criticized, people stick up for him. Rooney, Berbatov, Lindelof, Wan Bissaka, Maguire, Pre last season Shaw, De Gea, all the same. Some love to moan, some love to moan at the...
  6. Phil Jones | released summer 2023

Can't speak for the original poster, but I was a bit taken aback by how you seemed to have critisized Phil Jones in this instance, that's all... Seemed really needless/pointless to call him thin skinned, when imo it's a really natural reaction. Almost as if you felt the urge either to...
  7. Phil Jones | released summer 2023

Thanks for posting, this video should get posted every few pages... He's been playing through injury/pain since 2012, with the knee getting worse and worse... I do wonder why United seemed to be so quiet about the surgery though? I don't think we heard anything about it until this interview...
  8. Should we go all in for Mbappe in the summer?

I don't think he could play centrally in the premier league week in week out and deserve the wages he would demand imho. Better options out there. Left forward maybe, up top, not for me.
  9. Paul Pogba | 2021/22 Performances

Interesting* footnote - apparently those three assists last year were all for Greenwood... Hopefully they can link up well again this year. * May not be interesting
  10. Arsenal 2021/22 | PLEASE LOCK (SERIOUSLY)

They definitely need someone who can create chances regularly. Hopefully for them, that would be Odegaard. He's young, will improve and they should know what they're getting due to already having played there so it makes sense for a lot of reasons. Problem for them as picked up on already is...
  11. Is Top 4 this season so predictable?

Biggest question marks for me are Brentford, Leeds and West Ham. I wouldn't be overly surprised to see Brentford have a great year and finish top half. Likewise I wouldn't be surprised to see West Ham get caught up in a relegation battle and I'm not sure if Leeds will kick on or struggle this...
  12. Phil Jones | 2021/22 Performances

Let's live in a mental world where he stays fit for the year and trains well. I think he's likely to be Maguires stand in, as in, he's the defender who engages. Varane, Lindelof and Baily are all better at marking space and mopping up.
  13. Southampton vs Manchester United

Why not? I'm pretty certain Lindelof starts this one as well, and makes sense if Varane isn't fit yet. No need to rush him.
  14. Phil Jones | 2021/22 Performances

    Like I said. That's strange.
