    It must also be said that Bayern’s academy produced quite a bit of good footballers over the last decade who just happened to be not good enough for Bayern. I am thinking of the likes of Can, Højbjerg, et at.

    These tax „exemptions„ for foreign players really improved Seria A‘s attractiveness again. You don’t need a lot of gross to get a nice net.
