  1. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

Remember when Raul Jimenez was sent off after doing just that and everyone was in agreement that it was a horror tackle. Hmm, I wonder what’s changed. #protectshinsnotheads seems to be the official hashtag for the PGMOL, like we’ve previously said. But sometimes protect heads anyway. Just not...
  2. The WTF and let's all laugh at 23/24 thread

I think the moral of the story for some of these fans is that the more you feck around, the more you’re going to find out.
  3. Is a yellow for taking off your shirt the most stupid rule in footy?

It doesn't have anything to do with time-wasting either.
  4. Post match vs Liverpool

There was something weird with the game clock on my feed during the final minutes of the game, did anyone else notice it? When Amad scored, the time was 30:06. After all the celebrations and ball was in play the clock said 30:26. Have they started stopping the clock for goal celebrations or...
  5. Did Amad make the most badass exit of all time?

Remember when an Aston Villa player didn't get booked for doing the same thing Amad did to get his first yellow card, then Bruno got a yellow for complaining that he didn't give a yellow card?
  6. Manchester United vs Everton

Of course that's not dissent eh
  7. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

Who "breaks a fall" by having their arm out as far behind their body as possible?
  8. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

I reckon they'll give Everton one in the second half for "having his arm behind him while sliding for too long".
  9. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

Another situation. His fall is already broken. Can you just keep your arm extended behind you for the duration of the slide and block balls?
  10. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

    Yeah I agree with that.

PGMOL: It is a natural movement for a crab and from the video evidence we couldn't say that it was clear and obvious that Cedric is not in fact a crab, therefore it wasn't enough to overturn the on-field call.
  12. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

Well, breaking your fall is one thing but completely mistiming a diving header that ends up in you preventing a goalscoring opportunity by hugging the ball with both hands should surely be a foul somehow, otherwise players can just dive forwards in the penalty area and if they block the ball...
  13. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

Reminds me of the time Cedric crawled on all fours and swooped the ball away with his arm from the penalty area and VAR thought that was a completely natural movement.
  14. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

Well, looks like they've found a loophole in the handball law, just miss a header and then grab the ball when it's on the ground to prevent a player from going through on a 1v1
  15. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

The only thing that statistic says is that the referee has made 3 clear and obvious errors favouring Liverpool on the pitch which have then been reversed by VAR. What does that tell you about anything? In that statistic, where’s the incident where Jota gets a minimal touch on his calf, takes...
