  • Why have we been playing Dalot and AWB switched the last few weeks? Have I missed something?

Just some geezer. You know they occasionally add things to the feed which members of the general public* have texted in. *i.e. idiots.

It makes this comment on the BBC site during the Liverpool game even more demonstrably laughable: "I've no sympathy for United "having" to play teenagers. Liverpool have done this all season, and it's why their teenagers don't look out of depth...
  • I'm struggling to see the difference between that and how our current defence advance the ball. :D
  • To the OP question: No. It's in second place, behind the weirdness that is: You're allowed for your team to score directly because of your accidental handball in the opponents box as long as you're not the person who scores.
  • Sky showed the Spurs game from the end of the 98-99 season in full the other day. Justin Edinburgh is a name I remember - but I didn't recognise his face in the slightest.
  • I'm late to this party - but Sam Sodje was better than his older brother Efe Sodje* (Bandana man) and than his younger brother Akpo. What does that mean to the brothers theory? *At football. Not at defrauding charitable foundations.

As if it wasn't already hard enough - did he have to barge the ref out of his way too?
  • A recent one, but whenever I see a clip from last year with Sabitzer in it I am confused for a moment. I reckon next year the same will be true of looking back at this year and seeing Reguilon. It just doesn't really feel like they were ever...

Bloody hell. I didn't even remember posting this - but I pre-Mkhitaryaned Mkhitaryan by 8 years! Mind you, mine wasn't quite as impressive. There was no diving acrobatics, just a leg flicked out behind me. And it's a bit sad to recognise that I...
  • Zero, given that every time we get into the positive we shit ourselves. I posted about this effect in the weird things about football thread a while back.
  • Indeed. It points out how ridiculous it is when people bemoan the level of skill in the women's game as if it's inevitable because they're 'just women'. The game is just developing having been actively worked against by the authorities ever...

Throughout last season and this, every time United reach a neutral or positive goal difference, they immediately crap the bed and have a heavy loss to bring it back firmly into the negative. What's our GD after the Villa game again? :nervous:
  • I think your thesaurus is broken. Unless you think they looked like an erect penis? Suppose it's not out of the question.
