I thought we should have gone for him - he would try his best to win the title in 2 years here rather than being a manager that was here under some sort of long term project.
Henderson is more all rounded that De Gea.
People who don’t see that then don’t understand football.
Stats even showed that it led to less goals as well.
Just because he may not be our future number 1 doesn’t change the fact that neither...
I always wonder why an average Liverpool team are able to win a CL title in 2005 vs Milan.
Their fans kind of just support very average players even if they themselves look stupid.
Our fans are a bit more self minded, thinking of their own...
If Henderson is average then De Gea is below average in terms of capabilities of a goalkeeper and how that influences how the rest of the defenders play.
Well again, if the school is shit and the class are all crap - then a good kid even at his minimal then deserves a bit of recognition for performing even basically decent by himself.
This is how I feel.
@Pogue Mahone
I felt he passed the ball better than he usually does, especially in the first half.
Played a nice through ball too.
I feel like this is why me and some felt he had a good/ish performance without any product.
Defensively I can put more on the side and blame the players. De gea has been at fault for both game goals. Dalot can’t defend etc.
Attacking wise though - this team has absolutely no ability to basically score a goal the way even an average...
