Each time we've gone into a transfer tug-o-war with Man City, we've ended up on the receiving end (e.g. Sanchez (end up paying 400k/ week in wages while City were offering him around 250k/week), Fred (Was quoted as a 35m player and we ended up...
Yup... that Sancho money could be used to get Dembele and Patson Daka which could solve our issues upfront. The remainder of that transfer budget could go to solving the DM & CB issue.
Haha... my views have changed since I made this post. I'm not sure Milenkovic is good enough despite the low transfer fee. I think it'd be foolish to spend money on Haaland when we've got to fix 4 other positions in our first 11 itself given...
To be fair we've played Pogba in a team with a crappy defense and a DM who lacks pace. If he had remained at Juve, he would have at least put himself in a position to win the Champions League. I think coming back to United stalled his progress.
I'm fine with parting with Pogba although he would be a huge miss. I rather we got Grealish and Sancho and play a little differently. We need 3 first-team players even if Pogba remains.
I would like Haaland but if we could get both Grealish and Sancho for that amount, I would do that deal with Rashford converting to a proper No. 9. The bottom line is if we create more, Rashford will score those chances. I mean how the hell does...
Sigh.... 34m for a player of his caliber who is just 21. If United have steered away, this is absolute bull crap. Getting Kounde and Konate would have benefitted for 75m would have worked out our CB issues in the longer run.
If Leicester can keep a hold of their players, Everton will look to strengthen, Arsenal will make some useful loans deals. Spurs are the only team that look to implode and finish behind us. It's a shame what two quality CBs could do for us. It...
Liverpool getting Konate
CIty possibly getting Haaland or Messi
Chelsea getting Sancho or Lukaku
The signs are looking ominous for us next season.
This is looking more and more like the summer of 2018 when we finished 2nd in the league and...
Sarr is not a first 11 player. He's more of a bench player who can start occasionally. Once again we overload our squad with mediocre players. We need to get a player whose off a similar calibre as Sancho for the RW. It's been over a decade now...
Lost his chance to join United. So many players ahead of him in the pecking order
In no particular order,
Neto, Moussa Diaby, Anthony, Sancho, Lookman, Leon Bailey, Marcus Thuram, O Dembele to name a few.
