  1. A genuine 3-horse title race?

Unfortunately I can see Arsenal now dropping points. Their next 3 games are at Wolves, vs Chelsea and at Spurs, don't think any of those 3 games is a given win atm, even though they should be beating Wolves and Chelsea and a month ago would comfortably. Them going to Spurs away will surely be...
  2. Europa League / Conference League 23/24

I've enjoyed these 2 nights of European football and the results. Well done to Villa fans on here. I respect Villa as big club but have to say they have some unlikable characters like Martinez, Emery and few others so didn't cheer for them. Do feel they'll now go on and win the competition...
  3. Race for Top 5 finish - Possible 5 teams in CL next season

Emi Martinez keeping Premier League in this 5th CL spot competition basically.
  4. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I'd still rather us having last season's problems. We were actually looking like a solid side at least.
  5. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

He was useful first month and a half scoring few goals in league cup and Europa and doing some good pressing (like vs Newcastle in the final and getting an assist for 2nd goal) but afterwards and until the end of the season he looked worse and worse. It was fun having him.
  6. Bastian Schweinsteiger interview

It was actually counted as Deeney's own goal but this comes to my mind. We move closer to the top of the league and then ruined everything next month and couldn't even finish top 4.
  7. New Stadium or Revamp Old Trafford

Only 2 nights ago did I realise Barca are renovating Camp Nou as well. Obviously Real and Atletico Madrid already did it/Atletico got a new stadium. City, Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham, Everton, Bayern earlier etc... Glazers really screwed us not doing anything about Old Trafford, it's been clear...
  8. Coventry City vs Manchester United

Coventry won't finish in top 6 of Championship so this is most important game of their season. Probably one of the biggest since their 1987 Fa Cup win. We're really poor atm so they do have a chance. Who knows how this plays out but one thing I do not expect is convincing and dominant...
  9. Sofyan Amrabat | 2023/24 Performances

Sabitzer seems to be more of an advanced midfielder. Fred either box-to-box or advanced as well. Amrabat was supposed to be another defensive midfielder option so wouldn't compare him to them in that sense. But both definitely looked better players for us.
  10. Arsenal 2023/24 - Have bottled the Champions League and are Bottling the League

Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1970 and Cup Winners' Cup in 1994.
  11. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Yeah. I can think of few games where I was satisfied with how we played or tried to play: Tottenham (mostly 1st half) and Arsenal away back in August/September and Chelsea at home in December (though that was largely to Chelsea being really poor). Even Bayern away. City away wasn't bad as we had...
  12. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I know many people on here don't find xG relevant but this is interesting to me: https://understat.com/league/EPL/2023 Based on xPoints, we would have 12.52 points less so 37-38 instead of 50 points  and I think that's correct as well, just looking at our performances in most games we...
  13. Europa League / Conference League 23/24

You can say unlikely but with 'can't win' I disagree. They're 2 points behind City and on same amount of points as Arsenal. It's not like they're 4-5 points behind. Unfortunately I even give them bigger chances than Arsenal, afraid Arsenal could go on to drop points after Villa and Bayern losses.
  14. Thomas Tuchel | Gone to & from Bayern (In Summer)

Yeah I remember senior players like Terry acting like players-managers (or at least I remember them before matches giving instructions to others). It was funny but it worked out in the end. Your CL win was a fluke but it kinda was deserved after some unlucky/narrow losses like vs Liverpool twice...
  15. Thomas Tuchel | Gone to & from Bayern (In Summer)

Di Matteo since Chelsea: - managed Schalke from October 2014 to May 2015 - managed Villa from June 2016 to October 2016 Man turned out to be poor manager but will always have that CL win with you so not bad I guess :D
