  1. Ole when sacked vs Ten Hag currently

I wasn't in favour of sacking Ole when he had done well in previous seasons and not in favour of sacking ETH. The problem isn't the manager but the owners. When the engine of a car is a problem you don't keep replacing new tires with another new set in hopes to get the car running.
  2. Mason Greenwood | Please be respectful and stay on topic

Wasn't the idea that we feck him out of the club and forget he ever played for us. Why is this thread always at the top? (I realise the irony of this post keeping the thread up). Let's please all move on!
  3. Mason Mount's Misfortune

I don't know, it depends. The overwhelming consensus here is that a DM like Ambarat is more important. But that has to be judged basis manager's tactical plan. And those who say this don't believe in manager's tactical plan either. In what the manager is trying to do, an advanced #8 who is good...
  4. Mason Mount's Misfortune

I was quite happy with Mount's signing as I thought he will give us a good quality first XI player of which we lacked a lot. But the mention of Mount in every thread as a massive flop and almost a meme at this point has stripped away all excitement!
  5. Arsenal vs Manchester United

I think Dalot starts on left back. He did well in the last game, and is a better player than Regulion. We would go with Casemiro-Erikson and Hojlund upfront.
  6. So after all the concern, how do you rate our squad’s midfield?

It's good enough now for me to worry more about our attack. Either Hojlund needs his debut season to go with a bang or we need a top player either as ST or RW who can score 20 goals.
  7. Mason Mount's Misfortune

That last part is a myth IMO. We always saw highlights during his Chelsea time and he was obviously quality player on the ball. But his overall performances for us were similar to Chelsea. I remember seeing stats on his goals and assists and they were broadly similar.
  8. Mason Mount's Misfortune

What is this narrative that Mata didn't work out for us? He was a crucial team member especially during LVGs team when we arguably tasted the most success. He wasnt world class but a solid first team player. That's what we are expecting Mount to give to us also.
  9. Sergio Reguilon | Man Utd Loan with January break clause

Joined redcafe in 2010 and you haven't heard of him?? He was the subject of a huge transfer saga once.
  10. Why have our academy products become so bad?

Oh come on, which academy produced two top quality forwards (rashford and Greenwood) in quick succession? And an upcoming winger being Garnacho. We also have Mainoo coming up in the first XI. And I am sure more academy players would start featuring in first XI as ETH orients the academy as per...
  11. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2023/24

The owners job is to not just provide the money but also hire the right people to manage the club also. Woodword was a comically bad appointment and the fact that he was there for so long.
  12. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2023/24

Everytime Shaw's injury back date is moving forward. At this rate I just hope he is fit by the next season! I know this is brought about by injuries, but I hate that we are again dipping into emergency loan market just to bring more bodies. We will not see flowing football till all 11 players...
  13. Scott McTominay | Transfer discussion not performance discussion

I know you are joking, but I think we must have a midfielder in mind who the press possibility hasn't got a whiff off. Could even be Gravenberch.
  14. Marcus Rashford | 2023/24 Performances

I am not talking about pressure against top vs bottom teams. I am talking about the pressure of being the main man for United, expected to provide the bulk of goals. The reason why he does well against the top teams is obvious - the space they provide suits his style.
  15. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2023/24

Do you honestly think Dalot is such a downgrade ? I really don't to lose so many points. Also you don't buy players to cover weeks injuries. Either they are good enough to replace them and then presumably would want a more integral role in the team when Shaw and Malacia are also back. How does...
