  1. What should be done with City's titles?

They should be stripped. As for whether they are void or us and Liverpool end up with 3 more each, I don't really care. No fan can take joy in winning a title years after the fact, the joy comes from watching those title clinching games and the season. They shouldn't get to keep the prestige of...
  2. Club Sale | It’s done!

It's not the negotiation, it's the checks and balances for the Securities and Exchange Comssion will do into the deal, it won't be rubberstamped immediately as its not a private sale. During that period, the company can't act on behalf of the incoming owner (say he wants Mbappe or De Jong)...
  3. Club Sale | It’s done!

I wish, but this deal will take awhile to close due to it being publicly traded. Hopefully, it doesn't haggle on too long it messes up the summer window.
  4. Club Sale | It’s done!

It also leaves very rich people who know the Man Utd brand name and are willing to pay a significant premium to be an owner of one of the most historic clubs in the world. You don't even need personal attatchement.
  5. Club Sale | It’s done!

Fiduciary duty to shareholders. If the company is bought with the intention of going private and they don't take the highest bid they will likely end up in court.
  6. Club Sale | It’s done!

    Ratcliffe.
  7. Club Sale | It’s done!

He's the owner I'm praying for. But, since UTD is publicly traded they have an obligation to go to the highest possible bidder. So, this could get interesting.
  8. Club Sale | It’s done!

Outside of Becks they might be able to combine for like .3% of the club at the current price, and I doubt any of them want to tie up that much money. Plus, probably in Gigg's best interest to lay low for awhile. I don't see any big name buyer attaching his name to this project.
  9. Club Sale | It’s done!

I really hope the buyer is Jim Ratcliffe. Has significant means, seems to care about the club, and last thing I want is an insane egomaniac like Musk or to be the play thing of an Oil State.
  10. Why don’t we scout Sao Paulo and other Brazilian clubs instead of overpaying feeder clubs?

Chicharito is from North America/Central America depending on how you classify Mexico..
  11. Why don’t we scout Sao Paulo and other Brazilian clubs instead of overpaying feeder clubs?

He never reached that level, but Rooney when we bought from Everton probably falls into that. Likely Rio when Leeds bought him too. But, those guys went for record fees for their age at the time. What Rooney would cost in the current market coming off the 2004 Euro's boggles my mind.
  12. Why don’t we scout Sao Paulo and other Brazilian clubs instead of overpaying feeder clubs?

Didn't we do this for the Twins and Possebon? Only Raphael really turned out well (until the injuries). Plus outside of very top talents, it is very difficult to integrate unproven young players in the EPL while among the bigger 6 clubs, especially foreign nationals. Historically, we have been...
  13. Frenkie de Jong | The last muppeting lap

He knew his girl would leave if he went to Manchester and didn't put a ring on it. Done Deal.
  14. Frenkie de Jong | The last muppeting lap

I think Frenkie is probably much more willing to live in Manchester and comfortable in an English speaking nation. Di Maria and his entire family's issue was they hated the idea of moving from Madrid to Manchester. Most players are professional enough to adapt to new surroundings once they get...
  15. US Men's National Team Discussion

Canada doesn't really offer many alternatives. The only option that wouldn't have the potential for that is indoors in Vancouver. Hamilton is one of the furthest south parts of Canada, and probably the furthest south one that has a somewhat suitable stadium. But, the Latin American countries...
