  1. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Up until the rashford penalty to make it 2-0 away to Everton I thought they were by far the better side. Garnacho scored the wonder goal overhead kick about 5 minutes in and then Everton battered us for the rest of the first half. I personally wouldn't call that a good performance overall...
  2. Europa League / Conference League 23/24

Why do the shithouses always seem to win?
  3. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Yeah I think the League Cup game against Palace is the only dominant win we've had the entire season. I think the home game against Chelsea we were the better side and deserved to win but it was still a pretty chaotic match and we were clinging on a bit towards the end. It's pretty pathetic to...
  4. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

If you went through all our wins this season I think for the vast majority of them we were pretty lucky to get the win. The amount of times we've played well and won this season is absolutely tiny, genuinely it's been about two or three times all season at most. We're incredibly lucky to be as...

Weghorst shouldn't have been doing any of that ! He was fecking terrible! That's part of why he's the worst player I've seen for Utd. It was like if Prunier was allowed to play for us for 30 games.
  6. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

None of the players mentioned above, Obertan or Dong or Prunier or Tosic started something like 15 matches in a row for us , or started in a cup final or started in big games against Barcelona and Liverpool and Arsenal etc.
  7. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I did say he's the worst player not including players who made 1 or 2 appearances here and there. And I'd say Miller and Kleberson were both not as bad as Weghorst anyway. They both scored as many in less appearances and neither were strikers.

    How old are you?
  9. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Weghorst is the worst Utd player I've seen in my lifetime. Not including players who made one appearance in a dead rubber end of season match or something. He was not very useful for the team, he was absolutely fecking awful.
  10. Champions League — quarter-finals and semi-finals draw

He did brilliantly in the buildup to the goal to be fair.
  11. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I really do think we've been incredibly lucky to be 7th. If you look at all our wins this season so many of them are undeserved.
  12. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

If we'd generally had a good season, comfortably top 4, closer to a title challenge and a decent run in the CL then I'd say winning the FA Cup on top of that would be further evidence of progress being made. There'd be a sense of momentum building. Winning the FA Cup this season, as great as it...
  13. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Winning the FA Cup 100% should not save him. In a one off game you can beat anyone, you can get outplayed but if the luck is on your side you can win on penalties for example. It wouldn't change anything in terms of ETH needing to be sacked, although it would be a great moment.
  14. Martial exit?

Great post that puts into perspective how fecking badly run we've been. Even towards the end of Fergie we started to hold onto players who were clearly nowhere near good enough, Anderson being at the club from 2007 to 2015 is a great example of this, but it really ramped up after Fergie went...
  15. Martial exit?

Should have gone fecking years ago.
