Sorry, but in my opinion, the word legend is banded about far too easily. To me legend means players like Best, Charlton, Law, Schmeichel, Cantona, Edwards, Gregg etc. Beckham used what talents he had to great effect, but legend, I don't think so.

Agreed. For a player who had no pace, couldn't really head a ball, and only really had a right foot (not matter how good), he doesn't fall into the LEGEND status. Kanchelskis for me, was a much more complete player on the right wing than Beckham.

Any news on who Moyes is bringing in with him. It would be a shocking waste of United back room staff, who know how the club works, to have a wholesale clear out. :confused:

I've said for ages, he should be used as a natural replacement for Paul Scholes. He's always had the range of passing required for a midfield player, he tracks back well and would get forward and support the way a younger Scholes used to.

Terry once again strips of his track suit top to make appear that he was actually involved in the final. Just how sad is this guy. Desperate to cling to any hint of glory, as he watches the end of this career loom large on the horizon.

To be honest, from what I've seen so far of this lad, he certainly looks an excellent acquisition for the Dippers. Seems to have adapted quite quickly to the pace of the Premiership, could be a real star next season.
