Agreed. Our center backs had the ball by far the most, but McTominay was rarely an outlet for them. Matic managed in 15 minutes to have 26 touches, half of what McTominay had in a full game. Really, really poor midfield performance.

At the very least, he could have rotated more in the two cup games.
