goldenballs replied to the thread Post match vs Brentford.Amazingly we hit 357 to their 264 accurate passes. We also had 53% of the possession, but still conceded 85 to 16 touches in the opposition penalty area. Sideways and backward passing obviously doesn't get you anywhere.

As much as I loved yesterday's result, getting one over on the dippers always feels good. But a large part of me is hacked off. WHY can't we put that effort in every week, instead of the strolling around the pitch not putting in the challenges.

Or rather the lack of it. We give away possession so much and often so cheaply Which consequently puts us under pressure, leaving us to play most of the game in defensive mode. And let's be honest, we don't have the best defensive set up.
