Three times, including this season. Won one, narrowly lost three times. This is closer than anyone else managed to run them.
You can say the same about SAF and Wenger. The total number of titles are not comparable, but for a while, it was close.
You folks linking their title win to empty stands are delusional, the league was wrapped up by the time covid started.
Otherwise, I am a huge fan of Klopp but there is no more denying that his teams have mentality issues.
This will be the third...
I dont know why his goal against Aston Villa on the last round of the 2021 22 season is not mentioned more.
An absolute worldie in the most clutch of moments. Cost Liverpool the league.
I think that the reaction is extremely dishonest (and/or naive), given that this has happened on too many occasions to count. Yes, the presentation was problematic, but it doesnt prove that they had a pre-agreement. What I see as more likely is...
Liverpool were never in this state, really. Not this bad. They had something to look forward on occasion. Sometimes something really big as well. Oh what would I give for United to fluke a CL win and a final during the current period.
Have just taken a look at their remaining fixtures. Even if City somehow lose both this one and at Anfield next week, I still would not call Liverpool favourites. They have some very very tough games left to play.
