If Southgate doesn't get this squad to win something then that's nothing short of failure. He has more top players at his disposal than I can ever recall, and many of other 'top' Euro International teams (Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Italy..) are all trying to find their next crop of talent...

Fabulous achievement. Good for European Club football, so good. Good for Bundesliga too. Napoli, Leverskusen... Gerona, Villa, Brest maybe in CL next season. I think it's great.

We looked a very poor side today. We haven't built any personality, character or genuine (as opposed to one-off, or a few games) resilience in a team since SAF moved on. Not one manager since SAF seems to have understood how to manage Manchester United. None of them.

Time to move on from this.

I agree with much of this. Chelsea are so average, like a youth team, (Cole Palmer aside, he's a class act and easily, easily their best footballer..). We're not great, both teams are very fragile, very...but we seem to be enjoying this. It's like neither team are coached!!! It's nuts! I stated...

We tend to play well at Stamford Bridge. I recall Pogba smashing them up a few seasons ago. Rashford too. Hopefully we'll be alright. I see quite a few goals in this game..neither side playing that well. 2-3 United.

Brilliant footballer. V talented and intelligent on the ball, a leader, the ultimate driving force.. fantastic ball-winner and.... a genuine goalscorer. I don't think there has been a better, all-round player at Manchester United in the last 50 years.
