Not sure, if he really is the upgrade we need. But would be typical United - pay 40-50m for a player who you could have signed for free one year ago. Why didn‘t Ten Hag bring him along with him, if he rates him so highly…?

Underwhelming signing. Don‘t like the player. €18-20m isn‘t that much, but there‘s this feeling, that we could have gotten a significantly lower fee if we had someone on the negotiation team who knows what he’s doing. Will most likely go through, though, it seems… Hope we can at least sign him...
