We’ve seen how much confidence and mindset affect performances and player trajectories. Throwing him in for the sake of throwing him in, when he’s not physically ready, and even though we as a fan base only expect “meh” performances, could definitely mess with both.

I’m not really sure what to make about the Henderson transfer from an intensity perspective. The biggest q is if his legs can’t cope with the ED, he has to sit in a midfield 3 with Tahirovic next to him, and Ajax already weren’t the most athletic team. However, if he can control the tempo better...

It’s the clubs prerogative to bring him back, but it’s also mine as to whether or not to support the club, which I will no longer do.
