  1. Liverpool barred from playing CL match in Leipzig

Am I missing something obvious here ? Why is the onus put on RBL and are subject to punishment if this game doesn't go ahead for reasons beyond their control ? Did they qualify unfairly to the knockouts or something ?

I will concede that I have seen him only for a grant total of one game and some Spain highlights. I was going by the few too many posts on here which mentions him as poor defensively and just ok going forward , which didn't sound a lot better than what Williams offers . I hope you are right for...

Indeed. IMO he still has a few years left in him to be first choice at a midtable club at one of the major european leagues before going back home. Although I have my suspicions that he might get exposed once he starts playing at that level week in week out.
  4. Jose Mourinho Sack Watch | Sacked per 19-04

There is a good player in Lo Celso though. I agree about Hojberg. What was the point ? Doherty is also a solid signing, nothing spectacular but he will keep things tidy on the flank and will chip in with the assists.

Thought the same about him from that EL semi final and been seeing a few posts similar. Not sure what's the play here , are we trying to provide competition to Brandon Williams ? If he can't replace/cover for Shaw any better than Williams , then even at 30m, thats a lot of money for an average...
  6. Donny van de Beek /beːk/| Manchester United Player

Oh ,I should have worded it better, I am talking about being proud to support United . I was drawing the comparison to Ajax with the classy gestures and the lack of snarky remarks etc like other clubs. BTW I do like Ajax as a club, their academy is insane.
  7. Donny van de Beek /beːk/| Manchester United Player

Indeed. It's the sign of a top business organization as well , just like United . No unnecessary comments to speculations, no jest towards one of our own(or others) when they leave (no matter what the circumstance is) and appreciation whenever it's due. It oozes class. Proud to be a supporter.
  8. Jadon Sancho| Staying at Dortmund for now

While all the other positions are in need of reinforcements , RW is a priority in my opinion because not only does it add a new dimension to our attack, it adds depth in attacking positions. Despite the defensive woes ,the main reason we had such a poor couple of games at the end of the season...
  9. Mauricio Amadaeus Pochettino | Chelsea sack watch

Couldn’t help but reply to this. Considering that you refer to United as we/our etc , it’s a bit odd that you seem genuinely disappointed about the bolded part which was really a stepping stone in the right direction for the club and its ambitions.
  10. What do we still need? Aka The never ending story

Realistically, I think we are only going to bring in a quality RW and a backup AM . That would help solve the complacency issue with the front 3 at times and also provide room for rotation . I don't think we are going to invest heavily in DM/CB this time around as Ole seems to be happy with...
  11. Leicester City vs Manchester United

Leicester can't afford to sit back like West Ham though . We tend to do well when teams attack us and leave space behind.
  12. Paul Pogba | Back in full training

How's that going to help us with our negotiating position if we did that ? Also , an uniterested Pogba can still produce a moment of magic that could be the difference in a game. Unfortunately , we aren't really spoilt for options like that in our current squad barring Fernandes now.
  13. Daniel Taylor on Martial

He goes missing for large parts of the game, but when he is at it , it's world class . The problem is , we as a team are not in a position to afford this luxury to him , since we are too dependent(along with Rashford as there is no midfield goal threat) on him for goals.
  14. Importance of the January 2020 Transfer Window

Hold up, not every post is a swipe or sarcasm. I was essentially agreeing with what you said and elaborating on what it might take to turn this around so that they can do what they are CAPABLE of . But I guess you are not interested in reading before replying.
  15. United squad lacks unity according to espn report

Yep, let's bring back one of them old lads who knows the united way , oh wait ...
