Oh? To laugh as someone who most likely has won more than most and currently earning probably 10 times or even more? If there’s this person in the industry I’m at, I’ll probably be envious rather than laughing at him.

Call him greedy or mock at him for having such an end to his career but he will be earning 75 million a year, sufficient money to last for generations and an amount most of us couldn’t even earn in 10 lifetimes.

Not siding with CR7 but to reject a possibly last fattest pay cheque and the desire to keep playing at top level at age 38 shows the level of grit and determination this man has. Most of us would have definitely taken the easy way out to Saudi league.

People don’t realise that we are not an attractive proposition to young players who have high potential to develop. Chances are some other big club + Man Utd would be chasing after my signature. Whats there to develop when my team gets beaten by mid table team week in week out?
