In place names 'høj' normally refers to a barrow/burial mound. The name means the grove with the barrow/the grove by the barrow.

  5. United on film and tv

There's a reference to United and a couple of shots from Old Trafford in one of the songs (It's Nice to be Out in the Morning) from the 1968 movie Mrs. Brown You've got a Lovely Daughter with Peter Noone.
  6. What made you become a supporter of this club?

Up until 1989 when I started following United, I had only really been interested in the Danish national team. So basically I starting following United because they played in similar colours to the Danish national team. I was 8 at the time so that seemed perfectly reasonable to me.
  7. Best footballing families

The Wallaces. Rod, won league titles in England and Scotland with Leeds and Rangers. Danny, brilliant for Southampton, played 47 times for United, won an England cap. Ray, England U21 caps, good career at Stoke.

  13. R.I.P. Eric Harrison

    Sad, sad news. :(
  14. Players who should have had more caps for their countries

Going back a bit further here. Up until 1971, the Danish FA (DBU) didn't allow professional players to represent the national team. This means that two of the best and most iconic Danish players ever, John Hansen (124 goals in 187 for Juventus) and Harald Nielsen (85 goals in 179 games for...
  15. Players you had forgotten existed

Danny Cadamarteri. For some reason he popped up in my head a couple of days ago. Looked like a real talent at Everton in the late 90's, but went on to have a pretty pointless career.
