To be fair, Bryan Robson was the captain for most of the 80's and he led by example on the pitch. None of the current playing staff have the qualities inherent in the likes of Robson or Keane or Bruce for that matter. Not sure who qualifies for the worst captain prior to Maguire

Personally I think he should apologise to everyone he derided on the caf just because we didn't buy into his unbreakable and yet blindingly misleading belief in thinking Lukaku was some sort of footballing god.

Playing Lukaku in the cup final is a risk and there's a chance he'll score, just a matter of whether it's at the correct end....

It may be rose tinted spectacles plus it was a totally different era but Robson was a magnificent player. I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but he won 90 caps for England during which he was injured for long spells. Pretty sure he'd be record cap holder for England if it wasn't for those injuries

Except Lukaku who has two left feet

For me he just doesn't excel at any particular part of his game. He's pretty weak on aerial duels, never looks comfortable with the ball at his feet when given time when more often than not he hoofs it down the line. For me he's pretty much a 6/10 every week. Nothing more nothing less. Shame really

Read an inter milan forum and find out....I have done and would say at least 70% of the posts think he's trash and they were robbed. The other 30% think he's quality. A bit like on here really

I dont suppose any of the players who've had the 'pleasure' of playing with him are likely to articulate it sometime in the future, shame as i'd love to read a keano type of autobiography on what they really think of him as a footballer
