  1. Keir Starmer Labour Leader

So you hate all political parties? Isn't politics literally just lots of different groupthink?
  2. Keir Starmer Labour Leader

    What a trustworthy man
  3. Champions League — quarter-finals and semi-finals draw

Where would he even play? Surely Klopp is too old to start for Madrid now
  4. Keir Starmer Labour Leader

But Labour's leading politicians are already telling us not to expect anything to improve in their first term in office. So we're going to get 5 more years of that anyway no matter who we vote for in the next election
  5. Arsenal 2023/24 - Have bottled the Champions League and are Bottling the League

Maybe I notice it more when it's Arsenal fans doing it but it does get annoying to read. It's possible to be confident and support your team without being delusional
  6. Arsenal 2023/24 - Have bottled the Champions League and are Bottling the League

The way I've seen other Arsenal fans online talking about this game, and in general recently, makes me feel like I've been supporting a totally different Arsenal to them over the last 10 years. I genuinely don't know where the overconfidence comes from.
  7. Westminster Politics

Fair enough. I massively disagree with that but I guess we'll find out if/when Labour win and he has to make these decisions.
  8. Westminster Politics

I'm genuinely curious as to why? What has he done or said to make you think he's trustworthy? Do you not find it concerning he's advocating for increased usage of private healthcare whilst also receiving donations from private healthcare companies?

  11. A genuine 3-horse title race?

It's actually not even a two horse race now, City have already won. We just have the illusion of a title race, Liverpool and Arsenal aren't involved anymore. We won't win because we don't have the experience of winning titles and Liverpool won't win because there isn't a global pandemic...
  12. Film Civil War (written and directed by Alex Garland) - in theaters on April 12, 2024

So it's a movie about fake politics and it's not even going to explain what those fake politics are? I remember seeing a trailer for this before I watched Dune 2 and thinking this was peak capitalism; of course someone in America was going to try and monetise the fact it's on the brink of civil...

Will the top 4 automatically qualify for Europe
  14. Religion, what's the point?

@frostbite What is the purpose behind your posts? I would also consider myself to be an ex-muslim and I have no love for Islam but I don't see how that excuses anything Israel are doing in Gaza and the West Bank. Are you trying to maybe switch the conversation away from Israel's latest...
  15. England Discussion

It depends what you mean by "holding back". I don't think it's a stretch to say this England team could be performing better with a better manager than Southgate, even under the constraints of international football. The talent of the manager definitely plays a part in how well teams do at...
