I concur. Ten Hag would jump at the chance. Not sure Ajax would be too happy

I’d be very surprised, think the chances are about the same as us winning the title this season. Be an interesting fit though!
  3. Post match vs Manchester City

I Ive been a staunch OGS supporter but the time has come to make a change unless he can make miracles before Xmas! We have been sooooo poor of late!

Zidane is waiting for the French job

Poch is the one but that ship has sailed.... Ten Hag from Ajax maybe. Conte was the man but, again, another ship!!! I’ve been a strong advocate for OGS but alas, it’s time he has to go! The team is all over the place.
  6. Ole Gunnar Solskjær | 2021/22 Discussion

Come on bud. You make it sound all doom and gloom. We’re near top of table and have been playing well. The middle of the park ain’t quite sorted but we look exciting going forward. This team was aimless under Moyes / didn’t attack under LVG / No cohesion whatsoever under JM. OSG has pretty...
  7. Neville - ‘’no style of play’’

Time will tell. You may be right.
  8. Neville - ‘’no style of play’’

Thank the lord somebody is bringing sensibility to this conversation. Far too much negativity and anti OSG. Especially when we haven’t seen so much forward play since SAF resigned. I appreciate passionate comments overcoming thoughtful, insightful comments given the last result but...
  9. Why did Ole abandon his vision?

I think the clear answer to your question is simply confusion. OSG has always spoken about the fast counter attack, and speed and intensity when in possession. It is apparent that this continues to be the system in use hence OGS occasional complaints about a lack of intensity when things...
  10. Ole Gunnar Solskjær | 2021/22 Discussion

Runners up last season / near top of the table at present / Defence looking rock solid for the first time in years / exciting players brought in to play the United way / far more offensive than any team since SAF’s reign. But you still don’t trust OGS. Comedy gold!
  11. Sancho, Grealish, Rice or Calvert-Lewin?

Great selection. Any would be a great addition. Was thinking Grealish, but we have players on the left and Fernandes. Sancho; We could do with a right sided attacker, although Diallo is supposed to be pretty special. Calvert Lewin, top target man up front! Rice is getting better every season...
  12. Maguire and Lindelof Partnership

I’m the first to admit I haven’t been a great advocate of Lindelof, however, his last two games have been exceptional. Hopefully this will give him the confidence to move forward and become the player many people suspect he is capable of. Fingers crossed!
  13. Finishing 3rd, 33 points off PL winners, and no Trophy (yet) is utter rubbish and shouldn't be celebrated...

Should we get 2 or ideally 3 new signings then there’s no reason we can’t mount a serious challenge next season. Surely that has to be the aim.
  14. Finishing 3rd, 33 points off PL winners, and no Trophy (yet) is utter rubbish and shouldn't be celebrated...

I have to agree. A lot of positives, especially looking forward. And given the post SAF boring mediocrity we have been used to, I’d say this season has been a big step in the right direction.
  15. Post match vs Southampton

Bottled it. Martial excellent. Pogba played like he had the virus; lethargic, slow, making schoolboy errors. Lindelof... Is he really strong enough to be CB for Man Utd? Good to see Shaw looking good again. Saints played well and harried Utd. Not a bad performance from us, just a weak second...
