  1. Rooney: "United lacks leadership"

I think it's likely that Rooney was an obstacle to anyone else taking a leadership role on or off the pitch because of his reputation and seniority and gigantic wages. Maybe now he's gone it will leave room for someone like Pogba to step up
  2. Guardiola confirmed to City... what does this mean for us?

We are going to have to know them off their fecking perch
  3. Arsenal v Man City: Who would you want to win the PL?

I absolutely loathe Man City and always have done. I used to go to school opposite Maine Road in the 60s and it was either United or City. No other club ever came into it. Did I say I can't stand sky blue or Oasis either? So as long as it's not City I would still be able to function!
  4. Do you like United as much as you used to?

I originally used to watch United in the days of Best, Law and Charlton. Denis Law was the then British transfer fee record holder of £115,000 and I was suspicious of where his heart lay but he won me over. The last flowering of Manchester United club football for me, was the class of 92 when...
  5. Is anyone else getting worried?

I'm really looking forward to this season.
  6. Post match vs Manchester City

Thought I'd have a look on Blue Moon "We are currently experiencing a spike in traffic. Access is temporarily restricted to register users."
  7. Real Madrid and Microsoft in Bernabeu naming talks

I think Real should rename the Bernabau Ronaldoworld
  8. Another false dawn?

I'd like to think that rather than a 'False Dawn' we have had a "False Sunset' after Fergie's retirement, massively aided by a media wanting to write us off. Hopefully now that the core of the team left feeling bereft after he's gone has moved on we genuinely have the start of something new.
  9. Utd now just another big club | All "United losing identity" stuff here

Thought this was quite a positive take on it http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2186322-swapping-welbeck-for-falcao-proves-man-united-have-regained-their-identity
  10. Manchester United transfer news and rumours for summer 2014

red_7 we were never the 'pride of all europe'. I suspect we will be better than last season and we may get into the CL next year; maybe the year after. We haven't been playing great football for a few years now but hopefully after some fairly major surgery we will. Maybe we won't fall too far at all
  11. Would you take 2nd next year if offered now?

I want to knock Citeh off their fecking perch
  12. Forgive me and many mancs won´t agree

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27337659 Bobby Charlton says United will finish above City next year. I have always felt growing up in the 50s and 60s that Manchester United's main rivals were Manchester City. I would never ever want them to do well and I can't understand any United fan...
  13. Giggs as the Manager

I don't feel depressed about the idea like I did when I heard David Moyes had been given a 6 year contract that's for sure!
  14. Giggs as the Manager

It's all very interesting. I haven't got a clue whether he'd be a good manager but we have 4 games to see what happens. He just might be ideal.
