  1. The [non] use of Van de Beek - Ole's player?

There's a lot to criticise Ole for but I think this it's still early days in the case of VDB. He'll I'll give the club/Ole the benefit of the doubt and assume they had a plan for him when they signed him. That's the bit I'm questioning though. Bruno is undroppable, whilst Pogba should/ could...
  2. Critique this 11

Fred can't cover the defence on his own and I suspect runners from midfield would cause us problems. Fullbacks will be exposed to 2 v 1s. With such little cover from midfield, I'd prefer more pace and mobility at CB. I can see our problems defensively being exasperated with this system. I...
  3. Manchester United vs RB Leipzig

Out if interest did anybody see PSG vs Dijon last night. They won 4-0 in a completely undeserved scoreline. Not only that but Dijon, who has such a low standard of player, cut them to ribbons at times and squandered some glorious chances. They actuality broke them down far, far easier than we...
  4. Manchester United vs RB Leipzig

Top of Bundesliga and unbeaten so far. Only dropped points once. I don't know if they'll be a pushover; they'll probably be tougher then PSG. Plus, when I saw them last season, their style of play was something that would cause us problems.
  5. Mikel Arteta | Arsenal manager

Jesus christ. Funny to see the extent some posters will just 180 their opinions at the drop of a hat.
  6. Mikel Arteta | Arsenal manager

Big difference between them and us is the level of investment we've seen compared to them. I don't know if Arteta will be a top manager, though he is rated by people like Pep, but they're way behind in their rebuild. No point even comparing them and us.
  7. Ralph Hasenhüttl

After he had our pants down last season I've been a fan. He'd do amazing here or for any other big team. I just think for us we have the talent, they just need coaching to play modern, attacking, aggressive football.
  8. Would you sack or keep Ole? (Poll reopened)

Brighton we were, they dominated and we sat back. It was a joke. Then Tottenham too.
  9. A Solskjaer Masterclass. Whoop Whoop!!!

How you've gone from a semi defensive stance to thinking he's absolutely untouchable. Not only that, you were earlier implying he's learning on the job but now he's as good as Pep and Klopp
  10. A Solskjaer Masterclass. Whoop Whoop!!!

Erm, no you weren't. You might think you were in your head, but you weren't. Just a couple of examples (there are many more) to compare to your current stance of 'Ole will remain manager. End of' type spiel..
  11. A Solskjaer Masterclass. Whoop Whoop!!!

You were backing him, but you weren't making such definitive statements like you are now. I don't care anyway, you said the same sort of things about Jose, who I was also behind, but we were wrong. One of us will be wrong again. Hopefully it's me and a club legend can prove to be a top class...
  12. A Solskjaer Masterclass. Whoop Whoop!!!

You don't know any of that for a fact though. Lose a couple of games and you won't be sticking your neck out saying that, just like you weren't prior to the Newcastle game. Before which, there were various stories of players being unsure of him/his tactics or whatever, which could be bollocks...
  13. A Solskjaer Masterclass. Whoop Whoop!!!

Not all about losses but performances. 2 wins out of 4 in the league this season, including one very lucky win where we got smashed to bits and dominated by Brighton. 66 points last season, 12 draws and 8 losses. Let's not pretend it's all been rosy. That points total generally gets you 6th or...
  14. A Solskjaer Masterclass. Whoop Whoop!!!

Because the same people shouting it from the rooftops didn't want to hear it when he was tactically outclassed by Brighton (even though we won), Palace and Spurs (6-1 loss to a defensive manager), plus a load last season too. It's just going round in circles and will do forever more.
  15. Mbappe vs Rashford - Taking the L from Lukaku

I think there's reasons for that and I bet Mbappe would struggle too in a more demanding league.
